MHT CET 2019 Seat Allotment
Maharashtra state common entrance tests cell is going to conduct the MHT CET 2019 seat allotment procedure through centralized allotment process also known as CAP. This will be done in three rounds in online mode. For this, candidates will be required to login to check the seat allotment for the MHT CET 2019 counseling. Also, in case of seat allotment, candidates need to download their report and allotment letter to the center for selecting their preferred option for the seat allotted. Also, candidates need to confirm their allocated seat to the Institute. The seats here will be allowed based on the candidate’s merit, availability of seats, and choice filling.
To know whether the seat has been allotted to the candidate or not, the candidate needs to login using their date of birth and application ID. Also, if they are allowed a seat, they will have to download their allotment letter with all the details pertaining to course and college allowed. After the allotment letter is downloaded, candidates will have to report to their nearest ARC for practicing any of these options – slide, float or freeze for the given seat.
Freez – If the candidate wishes to upgrade the seat that has been allotted to him and doesn’t want to participate in more rounds, he or she can choose to freeze their seat.
Slide – When the candidate is satisfied with the seat allotted and accepts the seat, but still wishes to upgrade that seat to a higher preferred course in the similar Institute, than he or she choose to slide the seat. Here, in this case, the previous allotment to the student will be canceled automatically. This will happen if the given allocated seat is upgraded.
Float – When any candidate wishes to upgrade the seat given after accepting to a highly preferred choice of course at any of the Institutes, then he or she will need to choose float. Also, in the given case, the previous allotment will be canceled, if the higher choice is allocated to them.
