TS PGECET Counselling 2019: Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) is Telangana State Level Common Entrance Test for Admission into Regular PG Courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Pharmacy (ME / M.Tech./ M.Pharmacy / M.Arch ), Graduate level Pharm-D (Post Baccalaureate) for the academic year 2019-20 conducted by Osmania University on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), a Statutory body of the Government of Telangana., Hyderabad.

TS PGECET Counselling Schedule 2019
The official counselling schedule has not been updated yet on the official website. Here we provide the tentative counselling schedule, based off of past year trends. It will give you a general idea as to when to expect to be called. Note that this is not the final schedule. We recommend that you check in with the official TS PGECET website (link is given above) to stay updated on any changes made to the schedule.

Also note that based on the number of vacancies, the number of counselling rounds may be more than two, as required to fill all the seats.
TS PGECET Counselling 2019 – Documents Required for Certificate Verification
The following original certificates are to be submitted at the time of verification:
For General Category
- GATE/ GPAT/ PGECET rank card and PGECET Hall Ticket.
- Degree Certificate of marks of the qualifying examination.
- Memo of SSC or its equivalent.
- Certificate from 10th to Graduation.
- Residence Certificate for preceding 7 years of the qualifying examination i.e. Graduation in respect of candidates who have a private study.
- Integrated community certificate issued by the authority in case of BC/SC/ST candidates.
- In case of non-local candidates, Residence certificate from M. R. O of either of parents in Telangana for 10 years is required.
- Transfer Certificate
- Aadhar Card
- Income Certificate issued by MRO after 01-01-2019 will only be considered.
- Minorities – Degree TC containing minority status.
For Special Category
- PH Category: Candidates who have 40% disability or above will be considered eligible and they have to produce a certificate issued by the District Medical Board.
- NCC & Sports Category: Candidates have to submit Original Documents issued by the concerned Competent Authority.
- CAP Category: Serving persons have to produce Service Certificate from the place of Work indicating the relationship with the Candidate. Candidates whose parents are domiciled in the State of Telangana are eligible to be considered under “CAP” Category”.

TS PGECET Counselling 2019 General Instructions
Below given are the general instructions that you need to keep in mind.
- Candidates are required to apply for TS PGECET-2019 test through Online mode only (printed hard copy of the applications will not be accepted).
- The application/registration fee is Rs. 1000/- (Rs 500/- in case of SC/ST) per test. In case a candidate wants to appear for more than one test, the separate registration fee has to be paid for each test.
- The examination will be conducted in Online Mode only i.e., Computer Based Test (CBT).
- The examination will be held from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon (Reporting time at the test center will be 09:00 AM) in the morning session and 2.00PM to 4.00 PM (Reporting time at the test center will be 01:00 PM) for the afternoon sessions.
- Computer Based Test (CBT) is of two-hour duration with 120 multiple choice objective type questions, carrying one mark for each question. No negative marks will be awarded for incorrect answer. The cut-off mark in the Common Entrance Test is 30 marks, in case of SC/ST there are no minimum marks.
- The Question Papers will be in English only, syllabus of each test paper is given in the official website (link is given above).
- Candidates must ensure that they choose the correct test paper, which qualifies them to become eligible to seek admission to the specific program they are interested in. The details of the courses offered by the Universities along with specified eligibility for each course and test to be written is given on the official TS PGECET website (link is given above). Candidates should ensure that they satisfy the eligibility criteria for admission into the preferred program.
- TS PGECET-2019 will be held at two different regional centers in the State of Telangana i.e., Hyderabad and Warangal.
- As per AICTE the eligibility criterion for admission to Engineering and Pharmacy is 50% in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category). Further, the qualifying degree (Professional courses) obtained under distance mode must have AICTE / Distance Education Council (DEC) approval.
- Candidate should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as per GO Ms. No 153.
- The Hall-Tickets are to be downloaded from the official website (link is given above). Without HallTickets the candidate will not be allowed into the test center.
- Appearing in the test does not guarantee admission. The candidate has to satisfy all the requirements at the time of admission.
