CG PET Counselling 2019: Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Test (CG PET) is an entrance exam which is organized on a state level. It is a gateway for the candidates those wishing to get admission in engineering and its branches (Dairy Technology and Agriculture Engineering). CG PET Counselling Procedure 2019
The counselling for JEE Main 2019 and CG PET 2019 candidates are held separately. However, every v=candidate needs to follow the same procedure as outlined below.
CG PET Counselling 2019 Registration
Registration for the counselling process will be done via online mode. It can be easily done on the official CG PET website. Candidates just have to provide information such as date of birth, JEE Main/ CG PET roll number, etc, and a unique registration number will be generated for them.
This registration number and the password they create will be credentials using which they will be able to log in to the website in the future.
Once logged in, they will have to provide the following information:
- Name of the Candidate
- Father’s Name
- Mother’s Name
- Nationality
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Category
- Language
- Religion
- Region
- Family Income
- Address
- State
- Pin Code

The candidate will now have to upload the required scanned documents according to the given specifications:

CG PET Counselling 2019 Payment of Counselling Fee
The candidate will have to pay the required counselling fee via the provided payment options to finish the registration procedure.
CG PET Counselling 2019 Choice Filling
Now, the candidates can fill in their preference order of courses and colleges. We advise them to fill in as many choices as possible to increase their chances of getting a seat.
Once they are done filling their choices, they will have to save them and take a print out of the application form with the choices filled.
CG PET Counselling 2019 Document Verification
The candidate will have to get their documents and certificates verified as the final procedure before seat allotment. This will be done in document verification centers, as provided on the official CG PET website.
The student will have to carry the following documents in original, along with 2 xerox copies:

The seats will be allotted based on the candidate’s rank on the merit list, preference order and the number of vacant seats available. They will be able to download their provisional allotment letter by logging in to the official CG PET website.

CG PET Counselling 2019 Admission Process
The student will have to report at the allotted institute if they wish to confirm admission/ upgrade their seat. To complete the admission process, the candidate will have to provide the provisional call letter, pay the required tuition fees and submit all the necessary documents as listed below:
- Class X Pass Certificate or Birth Certificate
- Class XII Mark Sheet
- Provisional Allotment Letter
- JEE Main/ CG PET Mark Sheet
- Domicile Certificate
- Migration Letter
- Conduct Certificate from the institution previously attended
- Category Certificate (if applicable)
- 3 Passport Size Photographs
- Gap Letter (if the candidate had taken a break between class XII exam and JEE Main/ CG PET)
CG PET Counselling 2019 Admission Withdrawal
If the candidate is not satisfied with the seat allotted to them, they can choose to withdraw. Note that it needs to be done before the last date of admission. A fee of ₹1000 will be deducted and the remaining amount that the student paid during admission will be reimbursed.
If the candidate cancels their admission past the final date, the institute will deduct the tuition, development and other fees and then refund the remaining amount to the candidate. The full caution money will be refunded by the institute.
The counselling will be an entirely online process except for document verification, during which the candidate will have to be physically present. The counselling procedure will be conducted separately for JEE Main and CG PET 2019 candidates.
The candidate can easily register online by providing the required details on the official website. To complete the registration process, they will have to upload their photo and signature and also pay the counselling fee. Once registration is complete, they can fill in their preference order of courses and colleges. They will then have to report for document verification at the document verification centres post which seats will be allotted to them based on availability. The candidate can confirm their seat by reporting at the allotted institute.
