SRMJEEE Application Form: SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) is a Sri Ramaswami Memorial University (SRM) Group Universities level entrance exam carried out by the SRM Institute of Science and Technology. The SRMJEEE 2020 will be taken once a year by a computer-based online method. By this SRMJEEE 2020, admission will be given to different undergraduate Engineering courses (B.Tech programme).

SRMJEEE is a common entrance engineering examination for all four institutes of SRM University: Chennai-Kattankulathur, Chennai-Ramapuram, Vadapalani & NCR-Ghaziabad.

SRMJEE 2020 Important Dates – Application Filling, Exam, Result Dates

SRM Joint Entrance Examination – Engineering (SRMJEEE) is an exam, which is taken at the national level by SRM. And as per the marks scored by a candidate, seats are allotted in any of its 4 institutes. Once, go through SRMJEEE 2020 important dates including the application form filling process, slot booking, exam dates, result, and counseling.

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, SRM University has delayed SRMJEEE and changed all the exam dates. And that’s why all new exam related dates for SRMJEEE will be declared after 1st April of 2020. All the previous exam dates of the SRMJEE application procedure have been placed on hold for now.

SRMJEEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who want to apply for the entrance exam have to satisfy the eligibility criteria of SRMJEEE 2020. Otherwise, their SRMJEEE 20202 application forms will be discarded. SRMJEEE 2020 eligibility guidelines are essentially some parameters determined by the SRM administration that applicants have to adhere to be held for selection. Various SRMJEEE eligibility criteria 2020 including age, marks, nationality, etc.

So before anyone proceeds to apply for SRMJEEE 2020, must verify the eligibility criteria for SRM B.Tech entrance as given below:

• Nationality: The very first thing a candidate has to consider is the nationality. A candidate must be an Indian resident / NRI / PIO or OCI card announced by the Government of India owner to apply for the SRMJEEE application.
• Age: Applicant must have been born between 1st July 1999, and 1st July 2004, to be qualified for SRMJEEE 2020 application form. In short, the age range between 16 to 21 is allowed to apply.
• Academic Qualification: Applicant should have either qualified or appearing in the current educational year, in the higher secondary exam of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology / Biotechnology as major subjects from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS subjects.
  • An applicant who has passed 10+2 in not more than 2 trials is also able to apply for SRMJEEE 2020.
  • Applicants studying International Baccalaureate (IB) with Diploma, or A-level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology/ Biotechnology as main subjects from International schools within India, are allowed to apply for SRMJEEE 2020.
  • Applicants must have at least 50% aggregate in PCM to be qualified for entrance to all the engineering programmes or have at least 50% aggregate in PCM/PCB to be qualified for entrance to Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, and Genetic Engineering programmes.
• Direct Admission: SRM also grants direct admission options and gives scholarships to those who have achieved the first rank in all Central and State boards in India, top 10,000 rankers in IIT JEE, top rankers in Tamil Nadu region and National and International sportsperson.

SRMJEEE 2020 Application Form Process

SRM Institute of Science and Technology has announced the SRMJEEE 2020 application form filling started on October 28, 2019. Candidates who want an entry to the B.Tech program of the university can fill SRMJEEE 2020 application online using their official website or offline at selected post offices.

The candidates will be needed to give an application fee to finish the procedure of SRMJEEE enrollment in 2020. Let’s go through both procedures one by one to know how to fill SRMJEEE 2020 application form in online and offline mode.

SRMJEEE Online Application Form 2020

SRMJEEE 2020 Application Form is available online to fill and submit. This is a very simple method. Please go through step by step directions and submit the SRMJEEE 2020 Application Form:

1. Registration at Official Website:
   • Visit the official website of SRM University for Admission at https://applications.srmist.edu.in/
   • In the right corner of the webpage click on the Register button
   • Now add all the asked information here for Registration like Your Name, Your Email, Mobile Number, Any Password of Your Choice, Choose State and city from Drop Down Menu, Write captcha code, agree on the terms and click on the Register button.
   • Then you will get an email with further instructions. Open your inbox and verify your email id.
2. Fill in Application Form for SRMJEEE 2020:
   • Login using email id and password at https://applications.srmist.edu.in/
   • Now choose the desired course and click on the Apply button
   • Now you can see an application form
   • Here add the Category details and fill the course selection and click on next
   • Then add 3 campus Preferences using Drop Down Menu and Select Program
   • Select 3 preferred Test City and click on Next button
   • Candidates will have to add the details of their and parents like name, occupation, income, email address, mobile number, blood group, permanent address, etc. as shown in below image:

3. Upload Scanned Documents:
   • Scan your recent passport size with the mentioned size and your 10th and 12th Marksheets
4. Fill Declaration Data
   • Read the declaration once, add applicant name, parent name, and date then click on Make Payment option.
5. Pay the Fees
   • SRMJEEE 2020 Application Fee is 1100 for national candidates and USD 50 or INR 3000 for the internal applicant.
   • Candidates can pay online using debit card/credit card/net banking/cash card payments/Wallet/mobile/Paytm/UPI.
   • To pay offline, Download Demand Draft- Application and then post it with SRMJEEE Application Form 2020 with complete details to the below address:

SRMJEEE Offline Application Form 2020

Applicants can go through the below-given steps to apply for the SRMJEEE 2020 offline:

• Do the payment of an application fee and get the OMR application form from the post office
• Fill the application form by darkening the circles available in the OMR sheet-like Name, Gender, Religion, Community, Date of Birth, Mother tongue, Nationality, Hostel accommodation, pick one or more university preference, take two exam centers, add valid email-id, stick the passport size photo in the area given, sign, home address, name of the parent/guardian, their profession, mobile number, alternate mobile number, blood group, Parents/guardian’s signature on the declaration box, etc.
• After doing that, applicants can submit it to any of the post offices.
