NTSE Punjab 2020 Answer Key (Released) | Exam Dates, Eligibility, Application

NTSE Punjab 2019-20: State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) will conduct the NTSE Punjab. The NTSE Punjab will be held on 3rd November 2019. The Punjab application process will start in the last week of August 2019. Class 10th students can apply for NTSE Punjab through their schools till the last week of September 2019. NTSE Punjab admits card will be released online in the third week of October 2019. Students preparing for NTSE Punjab can also find the study materials, test papers and mock test papers provided by SCERT.

The NTSE Exam Stage 1 qualified candidates will only be eligible to attend the stage 2 exam conducted by NCERT. NTSE Punjab Eligibility Criteria

Refer to the below eligibility conditions to appear for the NTSE Punjab 2019-20.

  • Students studying in Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya or PSEB affiliated school are eligible.
  • Class 10th regular students of Punjab who are studying in the academic year of 2019-20.
  • General category students who have scored at least 70% marks in Class 9th can apply for the exam.
  • Reserved category students who have scored at least 55% marks in Class 9th can apply for the exam.
  • Students who are employed or getting a scholarship from any other source are not eligible for this year.
  • Students from open schooling or distance learning within the age limit are eligible.
  • NMMS scholarship holders are also eligible to apply for NTSE Punjab.

NTSE Punjab 2019 Online Application Form

The application form for NTSE Punjab will be released online by SCERT. Students can submit the application starting from the last week of August till the last week of September 2019. Students can apply for NTSE Punjab through their schools on the official portal of the education department. The below-mentioned information indicates how to apply for NTSE Punjab 2019-20.

  • The school authority has to visit the official website epunjabschool.gov.in and login with their credentials.
  • Click on the new NTSE application form that appeared on the Dashboard of the portal.
  • Make sure to fill all the required information correctly to avoid rejection of the form by SCERT.
  • Students must attach their passport size photo with signature and photocopies of 9th class mark sheets.
  • Students also upload the photocopies of caste certificates, and disability certificates if required.

NTSE Punjab Application Fee

Applicants no need to pay any application fee to appear for the NTSE Punjab Stage 1.

NTSE Punjab Admit Card

  • The admit card will be released online on the official website epunjabschool.gov.in by SCERT.
  • The admit card can only be downloaded using the school login credentials.
  • Students can collect the admit card from the schools in the third week of October 2019.
  • Admit card contains the student and exam center information.
  • Students must bring the admit card while going to attend the exam.
  • Without the admit card students will not be allowed to sit in the exam.

NTSE Punjab Question Pattern

  • There will be given 1 mark for each right answer whereas no negative marking for wrong answers.
  • MAT questions test the candidates thinking abilities, problem-solving and reasoning skills.
  • SAT questions test the candidate’s knowledge on each subject of their academics.
  • A total of 200 questions will be asked in MAT and SAT with a duration of 240 minutes.
  • Students can expect the questions asked in the exam will be from the class 9th and 10th syllabus.

NTSE Punjab Stage 1 Mock Test

  • NTSE Punjab Stage 1 also conducts mock tests to help students in preparing well for the exam.
  • The mock test papers can be downloaded from the official website to practice before the exam.
  • The answer key will be released by SCERT immediately on the next day. Download the answer key and compare it with the solved ones to determine the performance.
  • Students can also download the previous year’s mock test papers to practice for the exam.

NTSE Punjab Answer Key

The official answer key will be published online by SCERT in the first week of December 2019. Candidates can also check the answer keys in some coaching institutes websites after the exam. SSP Scholarship 2019: The State Scholarship Portal (SSP) initiated by the Center for e-Governance, Government of Karnataka (GoK). This portal launched for sanctioning of Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarships of GoK. The government of Karnataka offers many Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarships to eligible candidates. There are a total of 4 departments that offers scholarships through SSP to meritorious and needy students. These are the Social Welfare Department, Scheduled Welfare Department, Backward Classes Welfare Department, and Minorities Welfare Department. SSP Scholarship Last Date 2019 is different for different scholarships.

These departments offer various scholarships to students for financial assistance. SSP performs Direct Benefit Transfer into Aadhaar seeded account of the selected students. Karnataka State Scholarship Portal

Govt of Karnataka offers many scholarships to students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Minority Communities/General (Economically Weaker Section) through SSP. Students of Minority Communities studying from class 1 to 10th can apply for the Pre-Matric Scholarship. In the same way, students studying in class 11th and 12th can apply for Post-Matric Scholarship. However, students who are pursuing graduation, post-graduation, and Ph.D. can also apply for scholarships. The Pre-Matric Scholarship provides students whose parents engaged in unclean occupations.

Students pursuing M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses will receive the financial support of Rs. 8,000/- and Rs. 10,000/- at the end of their research work. Scholarships Offered Under SSP Karnataka

SSP Karnataka Post-Matric Scholarship

This Scholarship offered by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India. This scholarship aims to provide financial support to talented students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Central OBC/minority communities/ General (Economically Weaker)/Kin of Defense Personnel (only technical education). All these students who are studying in Class 11th & 12th and pursuing B.Com/ITI type courses can be eligible for this scholarship. 30% of this scholarship amount reserved for girls. The application process for this scholarship is online. Students can fill the application form and apply online on or before 30th November 2019.

Eligibility

  • Students must be secured at least 50 % marks in the previous examination.
  • The student’s family income should not be more than 2 lakh per annum.
  • The student should be studying in any course after class 10th.
  • The student must be a domicile of Karnataka.

Documents Required for Post-Matric Scholarship

Some of the following documents may require to be attested to your course.

  • Hostel Stay Certificate
  • Fee Receipt
  • Marks Card
  • Study/ Bonafide Certificate
  • Kin of Defense Personnel Certificate
  • Parent’s Income Certificate

The above-mentioned documents should be e-attested before applying for the scholarship.

How to get e-Attestation?

e-Attestation software used to get the documents attested from the attestation authorities. Students studying in college run hostels need to get their hostel declaration certificate attested from the respective designated Officers. ITI, PUC, Polytechnic, Diploma, etc. students need e-Attestation only hostel declaration certificate. Refer to the below points for e-Attestation.

  • Go to the SSP website.
  • Click on ‘e-Attestation’ to attest the documents.
  • Enter your Aadhaar details, Course and College details and Hostel details (only for hostel documents).
  • Upload the details of the documents to be attested. Then, click on Submit.
  • After this, go to the e-Attestation officer with the original documents for attestation.
  • Then, the signed Aadhaar consent form will be submitted to the e-Attestation officer.

SSP Scholarship Pre-Matric Scholarship

This scholarship aims to provide financial support to students belonging to Minority Communities of Karnataka State. This scholarship is available for students studying from Class 1 to 10th. It is mandatory for all eligible students to apply both under NSP & SSP to avail of this scholarship. Students who have applied under NSP Govt of India are only eligible to apply under SSP Govt of Karnataka. Students can fill the application form and apply online on or before 30th September 2019.

Eligibility

  • Students must be secured at least 50 % marks in the previous examination (not applicable for 1st standard students).
  • The student’s family income from all sources should not be more than 1 Lakh per annum.

Documents Required for SSP Scholarship Application

The following documents should be kept ready before filling the online application under SSP.

  • Student’s SATS Identification Number
  • Aadhaar Number or EID Number of Student and Parent
  • Mobile Number
  • Caste and Income Certificates.
  • Bank Account Preferably in Nationalized Banks
  • Bank Account Linked with Aadhaar Number
  • NSP Scholarship ID

SSP Scholarship Application Procedure

Refer to the below points to apply for SSP Scholarship Applications.

  • Go to the official website of SSP Karnataka.
  • Click on ‘Create Account’. Select Pre-Matric checkbox, enter student SATS ID and click on ‘Get Data’.
  • Go to ‘http://sts.karnataka.gov.in/STS/front/loadindexhome.htm’ to know your SATS ID.
  • Student details fetched from SATS displays on your screen. Click on the ‘Save & Proceed’. if the SATS details are correct then click ‘Yes’ and continue. Otherwise, click on ‘No’ and provide your correct SATS ID. If your SATS ID is correct but the name and other details are incorrect, then you should contact the school for corrections.
  • Enter your mobile number and click on ‘Submit’.
  • An OTP will generate and sent to your given mobile number.
  • Confirm OTP then change your password as per instructions prescribed in the same page.
  • Click on Submit. You will get your User ID and Password in the given mobile number.
  • After this, enter the User ID and password and Login to your account.

SSP Portal

  • After SSP login Scholarship, you can see the ‘Student Account’ homepage.
  • Enter Aadhar details, Student NSP ID, Income and Caste Certificate RD number, and select Religion. Select Day Scholar or Hosteller and fill Student Personal details.
  • Then, click on the ‘Save & Proceed’ to generate acknowledgment.
  • After this, you can see the acknowledgment page on your screen.  If your parent has Aadhaar, then click on “e-Sign”. An OTP will be sent to your parent’s registered Aadhar mobile number, confirm OTP.  If your parent’s registered Aadhar mobile number is not active, then they will not get OTP. In this case, download the Consent Form from the SSP website, fill and submit to the school.
  • Then, students need to take a printout of an acknowledgment and submit to their respective school.

SSP Scholarship Status

SSP Scholarship Selection Procedure

The selection of eligible students based on financial status and family income. If two or more student’s family income is the same then the DOB of students will be considered. That means students possessing more age will be preferred. Only eligible candidates will receive the scholarship benefits. The benefits cover course fees and other expenditures. It will be transferred to the beneficiaries Aadhaar seeded bank account through the DBT process.

NTSE Maharashtra 2019-20: NCERT has released the notification regarding the NTSE 2020 exams. The NTSE Maharashtra stage 1 exam is going to be conducted on 3rd November 2019. While the exam for stage 2 will be conducted on May 10, 2020. Maharastra state council of the exam which is also known as MSCE will release the application form for the Maharastra NTSE exam during the second week of August.

Students of Maharashtra that are in class 10 are eligible for applying for NTSE 2020 scholarship exam. It is advisable for candidates to collect their Maharastra NTSE 2020 application form their respective schools. NTSE Maharashtra Eligibility Criteria

  • Students that are currently in class 10 and studying in Maharastra can be eligible for NTSE Maharashtra 2020 exam.
  • Only the students that are currently going to appear for the 10th exam can apply for this exam.
  • Students applying should at least have 60% marks in class 9 exams.
  • Open schooling students are also eligible to apply for the stage 1 exam. However, the student should be less than 18 years of age and not earning.
  • Students applying can only receive 1 scholarship at a time.

NTSE Maharashtra Exam Application Form

Maharashtra education board will release the NTSE exam application form online during the second week of August 2019. The final date to apply will be in September, while students can also fill the form after the date with the late fee charged. Students can also obtain the NTSE exam application forms from their respective schools. For this, they need to fill it offline and submit it after fees are paid. Students can also download the form online by clicking on the link provided on the page. After the form is filled, students should submit the form back to the schools. NTSE Maharashtra 2020 exam application form will then be submitted to the state liaison officer before the final date. NTSE Tamil Nadu 2019-20: National Talent Search Examination is conducted every year for Class X students by NCERT. NTSE Exam 2019 is conducted in two tiers, Stage-I (State Level) and Stage-II (National Level). In Tamil Nadu, the examination will be held on November 3, 2019. The national level NTSE examination will be held on May 10, 2020. The last date to apply is yet to be notified.

The notification regarding the examination date has been released on the official website of NCERT. Candidates can download the admit card and answer key from the official website after the release of official notification. Check the previous year cut off for NTSE 2019-20.

NTSE Tamil Nadu Stage I examination is declared by the state at dge.tn.gov.in. It is a scholarship examination for students of Class X. Key Notes:

  • There is no negative marking in the Stage I examination. Each correct answer carries 1 mark.
  • In Stage I exam, SAT and MAT carry questions in MCQ format with four options.
  • The paper also includes Language Comprehension Test (LCT) which is for qualifying purposes only. The marks obtained in LCT will not be added to the final score.
  • Stage II examination carries negative marking.

This qualification cum ensures the students receive a scholarship sum of Rs. 5,000 per annum dependent on scholarship.

  • This is a minority scholarship and can, therefore, be implemented by learners from minority groups like Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsi, and Jain.
  • The applicant’s estimated household earnings must not exceed Rs. 8 Lakh.
  • The applicant must be the Kerala state’s indigenous.

Eligibility

  • This scholarship is available for international learners.
  • For any UG program at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies at Sydney University, the applicants must have an unconditional grant.
  • The applicants must have finished either an Australian Year 12 diploma or an ATAR equal of at capped 98 global junior secondary diploma.

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Summer Training Program

  • Applicants enrolled in the first-year MSc program (pre-MSc degree category minimum first-class) are qualified.
  • The candidates may also qualify for a GPA rating of 6.0 on a scale of 10 in the fifth to pre-final year of Integrated MSc program or equal.
  • GPA rating of 8.0 on a scale of 10 or GPA 7.0 on a scale of 10 for CFT Is at B.E/B. Tech or GATE Score of 600 or NET (Engineering) rank of 1 to 100 may also extend to first-year learners of ME / MTech program or similar.

Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation National Fellowship

Application Process: Applicants can submit their application/appointment through their organizations/institutions heads.

Eligibility

  • The candidates must be Indians employed in India at reputable publicly funded organizations in various engineering capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree and skilled professional qualification must be held by the candidates.
  • As on the eve of the grant of this grant, the applicants must have at least 5 years of work remaining in the mother organization.

Reward

  • The applicants earn a grant amounting to Rs. 25,000 per month under this Abdul Kalam grant.
  • The chosen applicants also receive an annual Rs. 15 Lakh research grant to be used for design, study and development operations, including consumables, recruitment of resources, national/international science transport, etc.

President APJ Abdul Kalam Postgraduate Fellowship

  • Before submitting their fellowship application, the applicants must have submitted the University of South Florida’s graduate application form and received the university ID code.

Reward

  • For a total duration of 4 years, the chosen applicants receive a tuition fee waiver.
  • The pupils are also awarded a USD 22,000 stipend.
  • The University of South Florida also charges full tuition (up to 12 courses per class) for USF graduate-level credit hours that work towards the graduate degree of the student.

Fulbright Kalam Climate Fellowship

SC Scholarship 2019: The scheduled caste (SC) students are given SC Scholarships to allow them to pursue their higher studies without any financial constraints. A variety of SC scholarships are provided by the Department of Social Welfare and Empowerment, Government of India, along with their state-level affiliates. The purpose of these scholarships is to provide adequate financial assistance to economically disadvantaged and meritorious students. An SC scholarship is split into the pre-matric, post-matric, national fellowship of Rajiv Gandhi and scholarship from overseas.

SC Scholarship – Objectives and Coverage

By providing full financial support, the Scheme seeks to identify and encourage quality education among students belonging to SCs. The program will protect students from SC to follow studies above 12th grade. The system will operate in all schools approved by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

A scholarship will be awarded to SC students who secure admission to the notified institutions to meet the requirements for full tuition fees and non-refundable fees (there will be a ceiling of Rs. 2.00 lakhs per year per student for private sector institutions and Rs. 3.72 lakhs per year per student for private sector flying clubs for commercial pilot training and type rating). Books and stationery @ Rs. 3000/-per year per student and the latest computer with accessories such as UPS, Printer, Multi-media limited to Rs. 45000/-per student as one-time support during the course.

The Institute will provide the award winners with computers and supplies. Alternatively, the Institute may also consider reimbursing the costs of buying the computer from a student. Only Rs. 45,000/-given, the software and accessories are purchased from a reputable manufacturer/supplier. Due to adequate results, the scholarship, if granted, will continue until the course is completed.

SC Scholarships Eligibility

Students from the SC who have obtained admission to the approved institutions in compliance with the requirements specified by the respective institutions shall be eligible for scholarships under the system to the sum of the number of scholarships allotted to the respective institutions. In the case that the amount of admitted students meets the number of awards, the grant will be limited to the highest in the inter-se merit list.

The remaining SC students admitted to the college in various courses shall be eligible as a federally funded scheme for the Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS) administered by this Ministry, given that such students are otherwise eligible for the scheme. In the event that the Institute finds that the number of eligible candidates in the 1st year is less than the number of scholarships allocated to it, the balance scholarships may be offered to students studying in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year, etc. one of the inter-secondary merits of the results of the previous year, giving priority to those with a higher number of years left to complete their respective course, i.e. 1st year to get priority over the 2nd year and so on.

Thirty percent (30 percent) of the slots allotted to the Institute shall be reserved according to their inter-se merit to deserving SC girl students. In the absence of a sufficient number of girl students, the slots may be allocated according to their merit to deserving by students. Moreover, the 30 million slots as stated above will not include girl students chosen on the basis of their success in the Institute’s overall merit list of SC students.

If there is more than one student with equivalent marks for the last available slot in an institution; priority may be granted to the student with the lowest parental income.

The Scheme’s advantage will not be extended to more than two siblings in a household. Students must send an affidavit in the Institute to this extent and confirm that he/she is not the family’s 3rd sibling who profits from the Program.

The total annual family income ceiling for all sources under the Scheme shall be Rs. 6.00 lakh and the general selection criteria for any institution’s eligible candidates shall be the merit. Furthermore, if there is more than one candidate with equivalent marks for the last available slot in an institution; priority may be granted to the applicant with the lowest parental income.

The scholarship will be paid immediately after a student has obtained entry and has started attending classes. If the student fails to pass the final exam, the scholarship will be cancelled. Nonetheless, he will still be qualifying for the Post-Matric Scholarship.

Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India launched the National Overseas Scholarship initiative to support financially constrained SC students/professionals to be able to study abroad through this fellowship. KVPY 2019: Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana 2019 is a national level exam that aims to encourage scientific temperament among the young minds of the country. The exam is conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. The candidates who qualify the exam get a scholarship till the pre-Ph.D. level. The courses for which fellowships are awarded are B.Sc., B. Stat, Integrated M.Sc. and M.S in either Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology.

How To Apply for KVPY?

The mode of application for KVPY is online only. The steps to apply are as follows:

  1. Go to the official website http://kvpy.iisc.ernet.in/main/applications.htm
  2. Register using your email Id and phone number. A login ID will be generated for you.KVPY Registartion
  3. Re-login to the website using the auto-generated username and password.
  4. Fill all the details required.
  5. Upload the scanned copy of the photograph and signature, as well as the caste certificate( if applicable).
  6. Pay the fees either online using the integrated payment gateway on the KVPY official website, using either Net Banking or Credit/Debit Cards, or offline using the e-challan that can be downloaded from the site. The application fees of Rs. 1000/- (for OBC/General) and Rs. 500/- (for SC/ST/PWD) is nonrefundable once the form has been submitted.

KVPY Admit Card can be downloaded from the official website using the username and password that was generated during the registration. KVPY Result 2019

IISc will declare KVPY Results 2019 in December. The candidates who qualify will have to appear in the interview round in January 2019. STS Scholarship 2020: The applications for STS Scholarship are invited from interested MBBS/BDS students, On behalf of Prof. Balram Bhargava, Director General, Indian Council of Medical Research and Secretary, Department of Health Research. STS stands here for Short Term Studentship.

The ICMR launched the Short Term Studentship Program in 1979 to encourage interest and aptitude for analysis among medical undergraduates. The principal aim of this plan is to provide a chance for undergraduate medical trainees to get familiar themselves with research methodology and procedures by being linked with a short span with their superiors on ongoing research programs or by undertaking independent projects. It was supposed that this may assist as an inspiration for them to take up research as a profession in the future.

Since the last 37 years, medical UG students of various medical institutes in the nation have shown extreme interest in ICMR Short Term Studentship (STS) program. The ICMR has decided to extend this program by awarding the limited number of studentships to exemplary MBBS/BDS students for the year 2020 from MCI/DCI recognized Medical/Dental Colleges.

About 1500 students (1200 seats- MBBS and 300 seats- BDS) will be granted STS in Jan 2021 after the Report submission and review for the year 2020.

STS Scholarship Karnataka Dates

The student is obliged to register on ICMR website ONLINE commencing from 10th December 2019 till 9th January 2020 (by 3:00 pm), the application form and STS research proposal to be submitted online from 10th January 2020 to 27th January 2020 (by 3:00 pm) which will be then examined by the ICMR.

The results will be published in April 2020 and the list of selected students to undertake STS research work will be presented on the STS website. The chosen students are required to build the project in any two given months between April to September 2020 and submit the report before the last date of submission i.e. 16th October 2020 (Wednesday by 3:00 pm).

STS Karnataka Scholarship Rewards

The amount of the studentship is Rs. 10,000/- per month for two months’ duration (Rs. 20,000/- only) and is intended to be a pay for the student. This is given only after the achievement of the research and the permission of the final report. Expenses of research must be supported by Institution/ Medical/Dental College where the research is carried.

A certificate will be dispensed and posted to the Principal’s/College office after 6-8 months of Report results are published in Jan 2021. The Certificate will be dispensed only to the Student whose report will get chosen. However, the Guide can keep a xerox/scan copy of the same.

The student will be awarded a stipend and certificate only if his/her STS report is approved by ICMR. The Institution must provide the student with all the facilities for carrying out research. The value of the studentship from 2020 is Rs. 10,000/- per month for two month’s duration (Total Rs. 20,000/- only) and is meant to be a stipend for the student.

STS Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

  • Only for MBBS/BDS students of Medical/Dental colleges recognized by MCI/DCI are eligible before they arrive for their final exams.
  • Interns or PG students are not eligible to apply.
  • Students of paramedical/non-medical courses may not apply.
  • Indian National students who are studying in approved medical/dental colleges of India can apply.
  • Students who are carrying OCI cards/PIO cards/NRI’s studying in Indian medical/dental college can also apply and a copy of the OCI/PIO/NRI card must be submitted.
  • Students from foreign medical/dental colleges are not qualified for this program.

The students must bring out the research in their own medical/dental college under the guide who is employed in the medical college as a faculty. Only permanent full-time faculty members working in any of the Department of the Medical/Dental College where the student is enrolled can act as the guide. Part-time consultants/visiting faculty/ residents/ Tutors/ Pool officers/ PG students cannot be the guide.

Only one student will be allowed to work under one guide. Two or more students are not permitted to work on the same topic together. Proposals submitted on the same topic by different students are liable to be rejected outright. The student may have one Guide and other Co-Guides. However, ICMR will recognize only ONE main Guide for all purposes.

STS Scholarship Application Procedure

STS Scholarship Apply online:

  • STS is a fully online program. No hard copies have to be submitted.
  • The student is required to register on the ICMR website in the month of mid-December and then submit the application form and proposal online by January every year which will be evaluated by ICMR.

Note: 

  • Students are requested to visit the ICMR website (www.icmr.nic.in) and comply with instructions updated from time to time about the STS program.
  • Students who were unable to complete their STS project can re-apply for the next STS program with the same project. However, it will not be given any special preference and will be treated as a fresh/ new application.

STS Scholarship Selection Process

  • Results will be declared in April and the list of elected student’s names presented on the website.
  • If chosen, the student is demanded to accomplish the project in any two given months between April and September each year and present the report before the last date of submission.
  • The students will be granted a stipend and certificate only if their report is approved.
  • The last date of registration and submission of the proposal each year is during the second half of January.
  • The choice of the applicants for the award of research studentship will be done after the technical evaluation of the research plan by a committee of experts.
  • The arrangement of ICMR in regard to the selection of students will be final.
  • Appeals for reconsideration will not be considered and reasons for refusal of applications for the award of the studentship will not be provided.

STS Scholarship Important Instructions

  • The guide must take overall responsibility for the conduct of the research project, preparation, and submission of the complete report & the required enclosures within the stipulated time period.
  • The student should get permission from the Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) if the program involves research on human participants and from Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC) if the work involves the use of animals.
  • The IEC/ IAEC permission should be received any time between January–April before starting actual research work.
  • On approval of the STS Report, the stipend will be paid through RTGS and will be transferred to the student’s own single holder nationalized bank account number. Joint Accounts (parents/guides) will not be accepted.
  • The certificate may be presented either along with the project or with the report. Informed consent is to be collected for research on human participants. For more details please refer to ICMR National Ethical Guidelines for Biomedical and Health Research on Human Participants, 2017 and National Ethical Guidelines for Biomedical Research Involving Children respectively.

The STS registration begins every year around 10th December and continues for one month.

How do I choose the topic for my research?

Answer:
Students are free to choose any topic from the list of topics given in the application process depending on their interest related to medical research. The topic should be relevant and should lead to the creation of new knowledge or help in gaining new knowledge or skills by the student. Research should not be carried out on well established/known facts.

How do I apply online for the STS scholarship?

Answer:

LIC Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

  • Students with at least 60 percent marks or similar rank who have passed Class XII exams or their counterparts in this academic year are eligible to apply for this program.
  • Graduate/Diploma/ITI/Professional Course candidates should be registered.

LIC Scholarship Amount Details

Selected candidates for the LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship would earn a total of approximately 10,000 per year, payable in 10 monthly installments of approximately 1000 per year. This balance will be transferred directly from the National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) to the bank account of the scholar. The shortlisted candidates must, therefore, provide details of their bank account and IFSC code.

Important Instructions for LIC Scholarship

The shortlisted students will receive a scholarship for the entire duration of the course by fulfilling the necessary conditions of eligibility for renewal. There is a set of significant terms and conditions that applicants will keep in mind when applying for LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship:

  • Candidates will be chosen purely on the basis of merit (percentage of marks in class 10th and 12th and family background). Preference is granted in ascending order of income to students with the lowest annual family income.
  • In the final review of the program, students must achieve better than 50 percentage points throughout graduate courses in Science/Commerce/Arts and 55 percent in academic disciplines or corresponding rank to retain the scholarship for the next year.
  • In a household, only one nominee can earn a scholarship.
  • To continue the scholarship, the candidate should attend the classes regularly.
  • If an applicant breaks certain terms and conditions, the grant may be revoked or cancelled.
  • The scholarship will be cancelled immediately and, at the discretion of the LIC Divisional Administration concerned. The balance of the scholarship paid will be restored from the applicant is found to have earned the scholarship by false statements/certificates.
  • The LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation (LICGJF) will take the initiative in developing a comprehensive system for the collection and sanctioning of the LIC scholarship for students who have been shortlisted.
  • LICGJF will conduct the evaluation of the scheme at regular intervals.
  • At the discretion of the LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation Board of Trustees, the regulations can be changed at any time.

NEET 2020: What is NEET 2020? National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a national level medical entrance examination for admission into the MBBS, BDS courses. NTA is responsible to conduct the NEET examination and this year NEET 2020 exam will be held on 3rd May 2020 through offline mode.

The NEET 2020 application form will be released on the 1st week of November 2020 and the last date to submit the NEET 2020 application form was on 31st December 2020. NEET Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for NEET 2020 are listed below:

  • Nationality: Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs & Foreign Nationals.
  • Educational Qualification: Students must have opted for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Biotechnology in Class 11 & 12 from a recognized board or university.
  • Age Limit: The minimum age limit of the candidates must be 17 years as on 31st December 2018.
  • Pass Percentage: General candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% whereas the rest of the candidates should have obtained 40% in the examination.

NEET Application Form 2020

Candidates must follow the 5 step process in order to register themselves successfully for the NEET 2020 exam and the 5 step registration process is listed below:

Step – 1: NEET 2020 Registration

All candidates who wish to appear for the medical examination must register themselves with the official website that is ntaneet.nic.in. In order to register candidates must have entered the following details:

After entering the above details, the candidate must click on the register button and shortly candidate will receive the OTP number to the registration number or email id. Now enter the OTP number and you will receive the login credentials for further process.

Candidates must now log in with the help of their credentials and click on the link NEET 2020 Application Form. Students must fill all the necessary details in the application form.

Step – 3: Review the NEET 2020 Application

Now check all the details in the NEET 2020 Application form such as nationality, exam centers and medium of the exam and finally submit the NEET 2020 Application Form.

Step – 4: Upload the Photograph & Signature

Candidates must upload their photographs with a white background mentioning their name and date below the photograph. Candidates must upload their signature with the white background and it is also necessary for the candidates to upload their right-hand impression.

Step – 5: Process the NEET 2020 Fee Payment

Candidates must process the fee payment and the NEET 2020 application fee can be paid through Debit/ Credit Card, Net Banking, E-Wallets of different service providers or through Offline Mode-Via challan. The NEET 2020 application fee will vary based on the candidate’s category and the NEET 2020 application fee based on candidates category is tabulated below:

NEET Counselling 2020

On behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), DGHS will conduct NEET counselling 2020 tentatively in the second week of June. In order to participate in the NEET 2020 Counselling, the candidates must register themselves in the online mode. This NEET counselling 2020 will be conducted in 2 rounds for the 15% of the total seats of all the government colleges (except for colleges of Jammu and Kashmir state) also known as 15% All India Quota seats that are

Below are some important terms and conditions that Colgate-Palmolive (India) has announced regarding the scholarship program. The applicants must read them carefully before submitting the application form.

  1. ‘Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship Programme’ (Hereinafter ‘the Scholarship Program’) is being conducted by Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. (“Colgate” / “Company”) from June 6, 2019, to March 31, 2020 (“Scholarship offer period”) and is open for Indian Nationals Only.
  2. The Scholarship Program is applicable to individuals/candidates from economically weaker sections/ below poverty lines. The documents for the same will be as prescribed by statutory norms and is open to those desirous candidates/ individuals who have all the requisite documents at the time of making an application. The specific details of the categories, eligibility criteria and entitlements of the Scholarship Program have been provided here in below.
  3. It is the sole responsibility of a candidate to go through the categories and the corresponding eligibility criteria as mentioned below and apply for the applicable category.
  4. The data collected through the registration process will not be used for any commercial purposes other than shortlisting candidates for the Scholarship Program.
  5. Meeting the eligibility criteria and applying for the Scholarship Program does not guarantee selection. The process entails various steps for shortlisting and final selection, which may take a few months.
  6. Colgate shall not entertain any correspondence with regards to the non-selection of the candidates.

  12. The Scholarship Program shall be evaluated at regular intervals by Colgate and terms and conditions thereof may be modified, withdrawn or canceled at the discretion of the selection panel of Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship Programme and CSR committee of Colgate.
  13. The candidate hereby acknowledges that Colgate does not commit or intend to employ any of the successful candidates.
  14. No candidate or Individual has to pay any registration or application fee for applying to the Scholarship Program. No purchase of Colgate products is mandatory for participating in the Scholarship Program.
  15. Colgate reserves the right, to use the photograph /profile of the scholarship applicant/beneficiary for future publication use; and/or disclosures; and/or for communication purposes with Colgate’s stakeholders; and/or for submissions before various authorities and interested parties from time to time for reporting progress thereof; and/or for use in corporate brochures, websites, social media, archives and other material publicity, if any in relation to its activities without any monetary compensation payable to any applicant and without any restriction to its frequency and use.
  16. Colgate would not be liable or held responsible for any lack or lapse in any communication on account of failure or delay by internet, telecom, SMS and/or E-mail service providers. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
  17. Employees of the Company, its affiliates, and their family members are not eligible to participate in the Scholarship Program.
  18. The decision of the Company with regard to the Scholarship Program and the declaration of the winners is final and binding.
  19. Disputes; if any, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai only.

The selection process for Fair & Lovely Scholarship is given below:

  • Candidates are asked to answer two subjective questions related to themselves. Then, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their submitted application.
  • Candidates get a percentile ranking based on merit, family income, streams and special criteria such as physically handicapped, single parents, orphans, and so forth.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for the telephonic interview before the result declaration.

Medhavi Scholarship 2019 Eligibility Criteria

  • To qualify for this scholarship, an applicant must have passed Class 10 or its equivalent in the 16-40 year age group.
  • A candidate must have passed a registration (10th) or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • A candidate must be either a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.

The recruitment process is based on the context of MCQ in the online test. The examination structure will be as follows:

  • There will be 11 questions in the section on reasoning worth 11 marks.
  • There will be 11 questions in the section on quantitative aptitude worth 11 marks.
  • There will be 9 questions in the section on general studies worth 9 marks.
  • The total duration to complete the MCQs will be 18 minutes.
  • A third of marks would be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • Type A scholarships are awarded for candidates who achieve 60% or more in the test, Type B scholarships are awarded to candidates who receive 50% or more, Type C scholarships are awarded to candidates with 40% or more and Type D scholarships are awarded to candidates with 35% of scores.

पास-पास स्थित पदों के समीप विद्यमान वर्णों के मेल से होने वाले विकार को संधि कहते हैं। संधि के तीन भेद होते हैं- स्वर संधि, व्यंजन संधि और विसर्ग संधि।

सन्धि – Sandhi

(दीर्घ, गुण, यण, अयादि में से किन्हीं तीन सन्धियों से सम्बन्धित शब्दों का सन्धि-विच्छेद) – सन्धि की परिभाषा–परः सन्निकर्षः संहिता (पा० 1/4/109)। सन्धि का सामान्य अर्थ है-‘मेल’ या ‘मिलाना’। जब दो शब्द पास-पास आते हैं तो एक-दूसरे की निकटता के कारण पहले शब्द के अन्तिम वर्ण तथा दूसरे शब्द के प्रथम वर्ण में अथवा दोनों में कुछ परिवर्तन हो जाता है। इस प्रकार होनेवाले परिवर्तन (विकार) को ‘सन्धि’ कहते हैं; जैसे—’हिम’ और ‘आलय’ में हिम के अन्तिम स्वर वर्ण ‘अ’ तथा आलय के प्रथम स्वर वर्ण ‘आ’ के मिलने से हिमालय रूप बना।

यह सन्धि स्वर, व्यञ्जन और विसर्ग के भेद के कारण तीन प्रकार की होती है-

  1. स्वर-सन्धि, – Swar Sandhi
  2. व्यञ्जन-सन्धि, – Vyanjan Sandhi
  3. विसर्ग-सन्धि। – Visarg Sandhi

1. स्वर-सन्धि – Swar Sandhi
परिभाषा-स्वरों का स्वरों के साथ मेल होने पर उनमें जो ध्वनि सम्बन्धी परिवर्तन होता है, उसे ‘स्वर-सन्धि’ कहते हैं।

भेद-स्वर सन्धि के मुख्य रूप से पाँच भेद होते हैं-

  • दीर्घ सन्धि,
  • गुण सन्धि,
  • यण सन्धि,
  • अयादि सन्धि,
  • वृद्धि सन्धि।।

विशेष-पाठ्यक्रम में केवल स्वर सन्धि और उसके अन्तर्गत केवल दीर्घ, गुण, यण व अयादि सन्धि ही निर्धारित हैं। अत: यहाँ पर केवल इन्हीं सन्धियों का विवरण दिया जा रहा है।

दीर्घ सन्धि – Deergha Sandhi

नियम-यदि ह्रस्व या दीर्घ स्वर अ, इ, उ, ऋ/ल के बाद क्रमश: ह्रस्व या दीर्घ अ, इ, उ, ऋ/ल आएँ तो दोनों के मिलने से क्रमश: दीर्घ आ, ई, ऊ, औ, ऋ हो जाते हैं;

विशेष-ऋ, ल सवर्ण संज्ञक हैं; अत: दोनों समान स्वर माने जाते हैं। ऋ, ल में से किसी भी स्वर के पूर्व या पश्चात् होने पर दोनों के स्थान पर दीर्घ ऋ ही होता है; क्योंकि संस्कृत में लु दीर्घ नहीं होता है।

गुण सन्धि – Guna Sandhi

नियम -यदि अ अथवा आ के पश्चात् ह्रस्व या दीर्घ इ, उ, ऋ एवं ल आ जाएँ तो उनके स्थान पर क्रमशः ए, ओ, अर् तथा अल् हो जाता है;

यण सन्धि – Yan Sandhi

NEST Scholarship 2020: Every year the SEMCI INDIA conducts the Nationwide Education and Scholarship Test (NEST) in the month of January at their test centers in all major cities in India. The aim of carrying out a series of such periodic tests is to stimulate the interest of students in the pursuit of accurate knowledge and to prepare them for competitive skills such as CAT, GATE, GRE, TOEFL and various other tests for admission to higher education in good institutes as well as for employment in reputable companies. The NEST (National Entrance Screening Test) is a compulsory 5-year Integrated M.Sc. admission test.   • Applicants are required to learn a mixture of three subjects – Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics in Classes XI and XII.

NEST 1: The 1st and 2nd-year students of Engineering, MBBS/BAMS/BHMS/BUMS/BDS, BCA and B.Sc all, 12th Science, Diploma Engineering (only final year students)

NEST 2: The 3rd and 4th-year students of Engineering, MBBS/BHMS/BAMS/BUMS/BDS, BCA, and B.Sc. This includes only computers and IT.

Age Criteria

Applicants of the General and OBC categories should be born on or after August 1, 1999, in order to meet the NEST eligibility criteria. The age limit of five years is granted to candidates in the SC/ST/PwD class.

Applicants of the OBC category, the OBC (NCL) certificate should be issued on or after 1 June 2018.

  • Applicants will have to fill out their basic details in the next phase.
  • After that, an application number will be created for further authentication.

The NEST Scholarship Exam is specifically organized to assess the options, abilities, skills, and interests that are a vital part of the student’s education. NEST grants scholarships to brilliant students from the fields of science, engineering, and medicine, based on merit and performance. Having a scholarship is something that you can be confident of.

NEST has been initiated to develop the learning capability of the candidate. They’re going to win the prize in cash and a lot of praise. The topic, classification, and structure of the exam show similarities to other assessments including MCQs, filling in blanks, and Yes/No questions such as CET, CAT, GATE, GRE, TOEFL, and many more.

NEST Scholarship Amount

Upon qualifying the applicants will earn the following NEST Scholarship Amount by the organization:

  • NEST 1: 10 or more Rs. 30,000 scholarships each with Rs. 75,000 to the first rank owner in the class.
  • NEST 2: 10 or more scholarships of Rs. 40,000 each with Rs. 1,000,000 to the first rank owner in the class.

NEST Scholarship Registration Fee

  • NEST 1: Rs. 600/- if the fees are paid till 30 September 2019. If the fees are paid in October & November than late fees of Rs. 100/- and for December  Rs. 200/- is charged.
  • NEST 2: Rs. 700/- if the fees are paid till 30 September 2019. If the fees are paid in October & November than late fees of Rs. 100/- and for December  Rs. 200/- is charged.

FAQ’s on NEST Scholarship

Question 1.
Who’s supposed to give the NEST test?

Answer:
Applicants need to take the NEST exam to be accepted to the five-year comprehensive MSc course in basic sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics) provided at NISER and UM-DAE CEBS.

Question 2.
Who is qualified for the NEST exam?

Answer:
Applicants who have obtained more than 60 percent of the aggregate marks (55 percent for SC/PwD candidates) in their Class 12 exams are eligible to take the NEST exam, provided they have a science stream at the 10 + 2 level. In addition, applicants should be born on or after August 1, 1999 (General and OBC categories) in order to meet the NEST eligibility criteria. The age waiver for five years is extended for members in the SC/ST/PwD class.

Kind Scholarship for Meritorious Students is an initiative to support academically meritorious students coming from the underprivileged sections of society to build a foundation for their bright future.  The scholarship is funded by donations received from Individuals & professionals who want to support meritorious students in need.
