Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

The selection of the students is on the basis of the annual income of the family. The student’s with at least 50% of marks in the previous examination is also one of the selection criteria. However, there is a fixed number of scholarship quotas for each State/UTs. It will be decided based on the minority population in that particular state. DCE Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria are not common for all the DCEscholarships. To be eligible for the Kerala scholarship, one needs to be either a permanent resident or domicile of Kerala state. The Government of Rajasthan with its subsidiary departments presents scholarships to exemplary, underprivileged and meritorious candidates of the state under various schemes of SSO Scholarship. Ambedkar, this fellowship scheme strives at providing financial support to candidates who are willing to pursue a Ph.D. program in the streams of Social Science, Public Administration, Law, Economics, Political Science and Anthropology. A total of 6 fellowships of INR 15000 per month to each student will be awarded every year which is tenable for 3 years.
  • Chief Minister’s further education Scholarship Scheme, Rajasthan: Administered by the Department of College Education, Government of Rajasthan the Chief Minister’s further education Scholarship Scheme is applicable for candidates who have passed their class 12th with minimum 60% marks and come under the merit list of first 1 Lakh candidates whose annual family income is not more than INR 2.50 Lakh. This merit cum means based scholarship rewards the candidates with a scholarship amount of INR 5,000 per annum.
  • Rajasthan Yuva Vikas Prerak Internship Program (RYVP): The government of Rajasthan presents this internship program for all the candidates who have freshly graduated, post-graduated, or are in the final of study. The program is also applicable for candidates who are currently seeking a Ph.D. work from a recognized university. Under this program, the eligible candidates will be awarded a monthly stipend of INR 25,000 as well as a communication allowance of INR 2,500 per month.

Azim Premji Fellowship 2019-2020: Azim Premji Fellowship is offered by the Azim Premji Foundation that is a non-profit organization working for achieving quality universal education. Azim Premji Fellowship is an opportunity for professionals who are willing to work for a social change. It aims at providing educational and social sector experience to people from diverse backgrounds. This scholarship is a chance for young explorers in India who have work experience of 4-10 years. By joining the Azim Premji Fellowship Programme the fellows can support teachers teach better and enable the children in the government schools to learn better.

During the fellowship program, fellows will explore different dimensions of education and gain experience and understand the realities of rural government schools. Selection would be based on the online assessment test that will be held at Bangalore, Delhi, Jaipur, and Lucknow. Candidates who qualify the written test will be called for personal interviews to be held at multiple locations. Interview locations will be communicated at a later point in time. Azim Premji Fellowship Selection Procedure

Stage I – Online Application

  • the candidate will be needed to fill an online application form. Applications for the Fellowship Programme for 2020-21 are open till 31st July 2020.
  • On submitting the online application form, the candidate will receive a reference number. Please make a note of the number for any further communication.

Stage II – Screening

  • In case your application is shortlisted at the first stage of screening, the candidate will be needed to fill in a detailed application form.
  • After the detailed application form is received, your application will be evaluated.
  • If your application is shortlisted post this evaluation, the candidate will be called for the written test.
  • In case your application is not shortlisted at this stage, the candidate will receive an email intimation.

Stage III – Written Test

  • Post evaluation, if shortlisted, candidates receive an admit card (online) to appear for the written test.
  • the candidate will be scheduled for the written test as per your preference of date and test center have given while filling the Application form. However, we may need to use discretion due to logistical reasons.
  • Kindly ensure that the candidate carries a copy of your admit card and valid government ID proof to the test center.
  • If a candidate is shortlisted from the written test candidate will be asked to submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP). An email asking for an SOP with a deadline will be sent to the candidate.

Stage IV – Presentation and Interviews

  • the candidate will be called for the interview if the candidate clears the evaluation of the written test and Statement of Purpose (SOP).
  • During the personal interview, the candidate will be needed to make a 10-15 minute presentation to the interview panel on any social issue that concerns candidates the most. candidate can use Chart Paper/PPT or any other medium that candidates are most comfortable with to make the presentation.
  • This will be followed by a discussion and if the shortlisted candidate will go to the final round of interviews.

Stage V – Announcing of Final shortlists and Offer

  • We will communicate a final shortlist of Fellows within 15 days after completion of the interview process. The result will be communicated through email.
  • The offer process will take 2 weeks post announcement of the shortlist.
  • On successful completion of the process, the candidate will receive an offer letter through email and the hardcopy at the time of joining.

Sahapedia Fellowship Eligibility

  • The fellowship is open to post-graduates and above qualified in the regulations of the Humanities and Social Sciences in the most comprehensive sense, or those with equivalent experience.
  • Applicants with previous professional or academic familiarity with the topic under application may be given preference.
  • The Fellowship is available to only those applicants holding an Indian bank account.
  • Applicants who were granted the Sahapedia-UNESCO Fellowship earlier are not eligible to apply.

Sahapedia Fellowship Duration

Fellowship has to be performed in the time-frame of twenty-eight (28) weeks between 1 September 2020 and 15 March 2021. Failure to submit the Fellowship specifications within the specified timeframe will result in the cancelation of that Fellowship.

Sahapedia Fellowship Benefits

  • Selected candidates will be given an award of ₹44,445.
  • Applicable Income Tax will be deducted at source as per the provisions of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Thus, the award will amount to ₹40,000which will be released in three installments, based on the completion of specific deliverables.
  • Selected candidates working in regional languages will receive an additional sum of up to ₹10,000 for translation.

Sahapedia Fellowship Deliverables

Fellowships are classified into research, documentation, or a combination of the two categories. Depending on their selection of a category, applicants may select their deliverables from the list given below. Every deliverable must be supported with a list of resources. Each Fellowship consists of three elective deliverables. The candidate may identify, during the time of application, three types of deliverables.

Deliverable I: (Pick one) 

  1. Illustrated overview/ introductory article (3000 words with 5–10 images), or
  2. Short documentary film (15–20 minutes with English subtitles, along with a synopsis of approximately 500 words)

Deliverable II & III: (Pick any two) 

  1. Allied article (1500 words with 3-5 images), or
  2. Image gallery (30-50 images with captions), or Photo essay (20 images with captions and a short essay of about 500-800 words to complement the visual narrative)
  3. Text interview with an expert/scholar/practitioner (1500 words, with minimum 10 Q&As).

In addition, selected candidates working in regional languages will be required to provide content translated into English.

  1. Articles with translations.
  2. Transcripts and subtitles in English for documentaries.
  3. Translation for text-based interviews

Sahapedia Fellowship Application Procedure

The first step of the process would involve the submission of:

  1. Resume
  2. Proposal of approximately 1000 words, along with an abstract of about 250 words. The proposal should indicate the scope of work, including a selection of deliverables, methodology, timeframe and familiarity with existing literature/work on the subject. The proposal should be relevant to Sahapedia’s field of work.
  3. Writing sample, a previously written essay or research paper of at least 1500 words, or a URL link of a 5-10 minute long video clip indicating the candidates’ skills in filmmaking/videography (for documentation); or both, depending on the selection of deliverables.
  4. Bibliography list of existing literature or work on the topic. No more than 15 items/titles are expected.

Sahapedia Fellowship Selection Procedure

Selection Criteria for Sahapedia-UNESCO Fellowship is based on:

  • The language of the proposal and writing sample submitted by the candidate.
  • Assessment of sample videos based on-camera work, visuals and narrative skills.
  • The understanding of sources, completeness, and range of references submitted.
  • Clarity with regards to the purpose of the project.
  • Clarity with regards to the deliverables chosen for the project.
  • The coherence of the entire proposal and area of study.
  • The subject of the research and its relevance.

Sahapedia Fellowship Terms and Conditions

  • Selected candidates are required to complete the Fellowship Project within 28 weeks i.e. from 1 September 2020 to 15 March 2021.
  • The fellowship is classified namely, research, documentation or combination of both.
  • Depending on the classification chosen by the fellows, they have to choose their deliverables as specified.
  • Every deliverable must be supported with a list of resources.
  • The key deliverables for the research category include –
  • Introductory article/illustrated overview in about 3,000 words with 5 to 10 images, OR
  • A short documentary film of 15 to 20 minutes with English subtitles and synopsis of approximately 500 words
  • The key deliverables for the documentation category and the combination of both categories include –
  • Allied article in about 1500 words with 3 to 5 images, OR

Vidyasiri Scholarship 2019-2020: Vidyasiri (KarePass) is a kind of scholarship plan, provided by the Department of Backward Classes Welfare, Government of Karnataka. Vidyasiri Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

To apply for Vidyasiri Scholarship, students have to satisfy certain requirements which primarily depend on their domicile, academic qualification, category(SC/ST/OBC/PWD) and family income. Free Hostel Accommodation Scheme

  • Karnataka government presents free Hostel accommodation/fee for the merit listed students who belong to backward classes such as SC/ST/OBC/PWD.
  • The scheme is available for post-matric programs after students have passed Class10th.

Prathibha Purskar Scholarship

To perceive D. Devaraja Urs Prathibha Purskar an applicant must have to fulfill these eligibility requirements:

  • The applicant should be a permanent resident of the Karnataka state.
  • Applicant belonging to underprivileged class such as (SC/ST/OBC/OWD) related to Category-1, Category 2A, 3A, and 3B.
  • The applicant who has scored 90% or above in SSLC/ Secondary PUC or equivalent exam held in March/April 2019.
  • The annual income of the family of the candidate should be: For Category-1 = up to Rs 2.50 lakhs, For Category 2A, 3A and 3B up to Rs 1 Lakh.
  • The applicant must study in Karnataka Govt./ Private Schools/Colleges.
  • The Pratibha Purskar facility is proposed only a one-time per student for similar courses.

Full Course Fees Scholarship

The applicants need to fulfill the following requirements to be eligible for full course fees concession (vidyasiri fee concession amount).

  • The applicant should be a permanent citizen of Karnataka State.
  • For SC / ST candidates, the annual income of the parents/guardians/family should be up to 2 lakh per year.
  • For backward class/PWD candidates, the income of parents/guardians/family should be up to 1 lakh per year.
  • Applicants should be pursuing in post-matric programs approved by the Karnataka Government.
  • To apply for this scholarship, the applicant should have 75% attendance.

Vidyasiri Scholarship Application Form

The online application Vidyasiri Scholarship form 2019 is available on the official website of KarePass (Karnataka electronic Payment and application system scholarship) Portal. When starting to vidyasiri scholarship apply online, read all instructions/guidelines thoughtfully for the particular scheme. As the incorrect submission of the form may lead to its cancellation.

Vidyasiri Scholarship Reward Amount

  • Free Hostel Accommodation Amount: Hostel Accommodation/Fee is provided by the Karnataka government to chosen applicants based on the merit list.
  • PMS FAAS, FC and NUR Scholarship Amount: Consequently, about 20000 applicants will take benefit of this scholarship every year. The scholarship covers the full course fee concession in which the applicant is pursuing. Whenever the eligible applicant will be shortlisted for scholarship, the sum amount will be transferred directly to his/her accounts.
  • Pratibha Purskar Amount: The Pratibha Purskar contributes Rs.10,000 to 1000 SSLC students and Rs. 15,000 to 500 Secondary PUC students based on merit.

CBSE Date Sheet 2020: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) authorities will release the date sheet for CBSE 12 and Class 10 2020 for the board examinations that will be held for the academic session 2019 – 2020. According to the CBSE class 12th time table 2020, Class 12 board exams from February to April and Class 10 board exams from February to March. To give students sufficient time between consecutive papers, CBSE has released the board exam time table seven weeks before the exam date. CBSE Exam Date 2020 class 10 will begin in the month of  March 2020. CBSE Exam Date 2020 class 12 will begin in the month of March 2020. Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana (MMVY), Madhya Pradesh

  • The students who have passed class 12th with 75% or more from the Secondary Education Board of Madhya Pradesh or 85% or more from CBSE/ICSE board.
  • The annual income limit of the family is INR 6 Lakh from all sources.
  • The students should be registered at an undergraduate level of course at a recognized institution or university.
  • The engineering candidates are required to have qualified JEE Mains examination with rank up to 50,000 or less.
  • The medical candidates are required to have got admission to a government/private medical or dental college through NEET merit.
  • The law candidates are required to have passed the CLAT examination and got admission to an NLU.

Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Yojana (MMJKY), Madhya Pradesh

  • This scholarship is available for the children of people who are mentioned as the unorganized workman by the Labour Department of Madhya Pradesh.
  • The scholars must have got admission to an undergraduate, postgraduate, polytechnic, diploma or ITI program.
  • The engineering candidates are required to have passed the JEE Mains examination with a rank of less than 1,50,000.
  • The medical candidates are required to have got admission in the MBBS course via JIPMER, AIIMS entrance examination.
  • The law candidates are required to have got admission at NLUs by getting passing the CLAT examination.
  • The scholarship is also suitable for students who have obtained admission at government colleges in any undergraduate or integrated postgraduate course or dual degree course.

Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC Students, Madhya Pradesh

  • The scholars pertaining to Other Backward Classes (OBC) who are studying at a post-secondary level can claim for the scholarship.
  • The annual family income should be less than INR 75,000 (for 100% scholarship).
  • The annual family income should be up to INR 1,00,000 (for 50% scholarship).

Karnataka Common Entry Test (KCET) 2020: KCET is a state-level examination administered by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). It is an offline examination, held for admission to Engineering, AYUSH, Farm Science, B.Pharm. The KCET entrance exam 2020 review will take place on 29 April, 30 and 5 May 2020 (Tentative).  KEA will hold the KCET Agricultural Practice Test on May 18, 2020 (Tentative) for those applicants for entry to Farm Universities under the Farm Universities Quota. The “Identification of Agricultural Specific Specimens” examination shall be held to apply for a quota position. The minimum qualification points shall be 50%.

KCET 2020 also known as the Karnataka Common Entry Test (KCET) will be administered by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) in the final week of April for the admission of candidates to different Engineering, B. Pharm and Agriculture Science courses in Government/University/Private Aided/Private Unaided Institutions in Karnataka State. Applicants who have passed or participate in the qualifying test, i.e. the 2nd PUC/12th grade, will be qualified to appear in KCET 2020. KCET Eligibility Criteria 2020

All candidates will comply with the eligibility criteria so that their application form for KCET is not refused by the admission authority. It is necessary to fulfill requirements such as educational qualifications, number, topics, residency, etc. Any candidate who does not qualify as required should not apply for the KCET 2020 exam. Please refer to the information bulletin and check the eligibility of the course you are applying for. Nonetheless, a summary of the KCET eligibility criteria can be found below.

  • All Indian National applicants are fit for admission to the Government Seat
  • Applicants should have passed a qualifying examination from the Board/Institute other than those listed on the VTU website.
  • Candidates of Karnataka who have passed the Karnataka State Open University Qualifying Exam are also not eligible.
  • Candidates who appear in Class 12 or Second PUC this year may also be subject to a qualifying test with the appropriate passing percentage of marks.
  • Candidates who pass in all subjects but then drop one, two or more subjects for the Improvement Exam are also not qualified.
  • Students appearing for Karnataka 2nd PUC 2020 do not need to apply their mark card to the KEA, as it will be received directly from the PUE Office.
  • Applicants who will participate in the Class 12 exam or have passed the exam from other boards (including J & K) can, however, submit a photocopy of their Class 12 standard mark card by specifying their CET number to KEA.

KCET B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 

  • Entered Class 12/2nd PUC or similar with English as one of the Languages and obtained a minimum of 45 percent marks in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Electronics/Computer. (40% of candidates in the SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B categories).
  • Merit/Rank shall be equipped by taking the marks in equal proportions in QE and CET in PCM topics.

KCET B.Arch Eligibility Criteria 

Passed Class 12/2nd PUC or equivalent achieving 50 percent marks in full at 2nd PUC/Class 12/Equivalent Test in all subjects and a minimum of 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and also (45 percent for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B applicants and people with mental retardation or mental illness impairment (including Dyslexia).

KCET Application Form – How To Apply Online?

In the first week of February, KEA will launch the application form of KCET 2020 in online mode for various courses. Applicants will have to review the eligibility criteria as specified by the authority before completing the application form for KCET 2020. The application form of KCET 2020 will only be accessible in online mode. Applicants are advised to keep all required details, such as valid email ID, personal phone number, communication, and academic data, etc.ready before filling out the Karnataka Common Entry Test 2020 application form. The steps below to fill out the application form for reference are as follows:

  • Step 1 – Login: Applicants need to press “Registered User?” To continue the online application phase, click here to Register. Enter all the required details and click the submit button. The application number and user ID will be displayed on the screen and sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email ID.
  • Step 2 – Enter login and Personal Details: Applicants must enter login details (User ID and password) on the KCET 2020 login page.   • Step 4 – Payment of application fees: Applicants must pay application fees according to their class, whether online or offline, after downloading the images.
  • Step 5 – Printing of the application form of KCET 2020: Upon payment of charges, applicants must print the completed application form of KCET in A4 size paper and affix the following documents:
    • A recent image of the applicant
    • Signature
    • Left thumb printing

Applicants must take the signature and seal of their respective college boards or similar. Applicants are advised to keep 2 or 3 photocopies of the application form secure for potential entry. KCET Application Edit Link-The authorities will also provide the applicants with the opportunity to edit their KCET application form. Candidates will only be able to make corrections within the time specified by the authorities.

KCET Application Fee 2020

  • Candidates may make payment only through the offline mode (through the Challan bank specified).
  • The application fee is Rs. 650 for applicants in the General & OBC class.
  • Candidates that come within the SC/ST classification must pay Rs. 500 as an application fee.
  • Rs. 750 for candidates residing outside the state of Karnataka and Rs. 5,000 for candidates residing outside India.

Payment by Challan: The lender must hold a bank version of the Challan and turn over the other two copies of the Challan to the members.

Applicants residing outside India shall pay the fees in the form of a Request Draft drawn up in favor of the Executive Director, the Karnataka Examinations Authority, payable at Bangalore, the petition submission should be sent to the KEA address by specifying the application number.

Practical Test Admission Fees under the Agricultural Quota: Rs. 500/‐ for General and OBC (Rs. 250/‐ for SC, ST and Category ‐1) shall be paid at the respective Practical Test Center on the date of the confirmation of the documentation in the form of a Request Draft drawn up in favor of the Comptroller of the respective University.

KCET Admit Card 2020

  • The KCET 2020 Admit Card will be eligible from 16 April 2020 (Tentative) onwards.
  • Applicants may access the Admission Card from the official website of KCET, i.e. kea.kar.nic.in, using their Application Number and Birth Date. The KCET Admit Card includes information such as the name of the applicant, the roll number, the location of the Exam Center, the date of the Exam & Time and other data.
  • Carry any valid Photo Identity Card including Passport/Aadhar Card/PAN Card/College Id Card/2nd PU/12th Std Examination Admission Ticket/Bus Pass to the Examination Room.
  • It is important to keep the admission card until KCET Counseling is completed.

KCET Exam Pattern 2020

This will support the applicants who are studying for the KCET test. The questions in the KCET Question Paper will be taken from the First and Second PUC Syllabus recommended by the PUE. KCET will take place in two days and four hours. On the first day, the Mathematics and Biology Exam will take place in two sessions and on the second day, the Physics and Chemistry Exam will take place in two sessions.   • The questions will come from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
  • Each query must carry one label and the document will have 60 points.
  • Candidates will have to answer questions in 80 minutes.
  • Every query will have four choices out of which only one solution is correct.

  • No marks shall be given for multiple answers to a question.

KCET OMR Sheet Instructions

Applicants should be very cautious when labeling the answer in the OMR paper. KEA will run the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) section on its website. The KCET OMR layer is split into two parts, namely the top and bottom sections. The top section will provide information about the applicant, such as the title, CET number, version code and a serial number of the query booklet. In the bottom section, the candidates should show the responses, the signature of the room Invigilator & Candidate and the Left-Hand Thumb Impression of the Candidate. Please check the directions on the KCET OMR sheet below.

  • Download and practice the OMR sheet from the website using a blue or black ink ballpoint.
  • It will help to improve the consistency of writing and to shad specifics such as Title, CET Number, Query Booklet Version Script, etc.
  • The OMR panel will have two sheets in which the upper sheet is to be used for correct response labeling and eventual screening and assessment. The lower layer is covered with a special type of chemical that serves as a carbon paper and will be returned to the applicants at the conclusion of each test session.

KCET Result 2020

The results for KCET B.Tech, B-Farm and Agriculture will be announced online by KEA. Applicants will need to type their registration number to verify their progress. Applicants will need to input their Common Entry Test (CET) number to learn the position grades. Applicants should have passed the 12th Standard Examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any of the optional subjects-Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics/Computer-to be eligible for KCET. Applicants were also required to research for at least 7 years and to move from a recognized college in Karnataka.

How do I access the KCET Admission Card?

Answer:
The KCET Admission Card will be posted on the official website. Candidates will be able to download their Admission Cards by entering the request number and password of KCET.

Question 4.
Is the calculator authorized in the 2020 KCET?

Answer:
No, the calculator is not permitted at the Exam Center. Applicants will not be allowed to bring certain electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, pagers, etc. to the Exam Centre.

Jain Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria to apply for the Jain Scholarship Test.

  • The student must be a citizen of India.
  • The student should be studying at Jain University.
  • The students must have completed class 12th or equivalent entrance exam.
  • The general category students must have secured a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate. Whereas the SC/ST category students must have secured a minimum of 40% of marks in aggregate.
  • The students should have completed class 12th with Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or technical vocational.

Jain Scholarship Selection Process

The student will be selected for Jain Scholarship based on their performance. All the applications received from students under sports, literary, academics, physically challenged, community service, music and dance categories. These applications will be reviewed by the Jain University Scholarship Committee. The committee will make the final decision of shortlisting students. Then, the shortlisted students will get a scholarship offer letter with an acceptance form. They can accept or reject it within the given time period. On acceptance of an offer, the committee will intimate the date, time and venue to receive the award.

Jain Scholarship Exam Pattern

Jain Scholarship exam pattern contains the type and level of questions asked in the test. Jain Scholarship Test includes 4 sections which are English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The total number of questions asked in the test is 180. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics 50 questions and English 30 questions will be asked in the test. There is no negative marking for wrong answers and every correct answer carries 1 mark.

Every year UP scholarship schemes is announced for the students who want to seek the accomplishment for their higher education.   • UP scholarship is fairly available for all the candidates belonging to any of the categories such as General, OBC, SC, ST.
  • Applicants from those institutes, which are blacklisted by the government, are not eligible to apply for the scholarship. These barred colleges include Chaudhary Babulal Institute of Technology and Management, Hathras, Excellence College of Professional Studies, Meerut and Shri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Baghpat.
  • It is necessary for students to attach a hardcopy of the photocopy of the bank passbook with the application form.
  • Registrants must submit the application form in the department concerned, in person and must receive the receipt.
  • Candidates must provide their own effective email ID and mobile phone number.
  • All the details and documents produced by the candidate must be authentic and real. If the given information is obtained wrong, then the application and data collected will be rejected.
  • Suspect applications will not be sent for scholarship and will be discarded at the same time.
  • Failed students are not eligible and should not apply for the scholarship.

VIT Scholarship 2020-2021 | Details, Eligibility Criteria Application Process

VIT Scholarship 2020: VIT scholarship is offered by the Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore. The scholarship is primarily to support meritorious, yet needy students to complete their education by providing financial assistance. VIT Scholarship 2020 for students appearing in VITEEE 2020.

VIT Vellore scholarship can be availed by students that have secured a good rank in their engineering entrance exam under a scheme called the GV School Development Programme (GVSDP). State and Central toppers will have their tuition fee waived off for all four years. Moreover, two toppers from government schools in rural areas will be awarded a 100% tuition fee waiver, plus exemption from hostel and mess fees. Students who have secured VIT Rank 1 to 1000 will have a certain percentage of their tuition fee waived off.

  • Candidates must have cleared their class 12 examination and secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, or Biology.

NIOS Admission 2020 for Class X and XII | Exam Dates, Eligibility, Pattern and Syllabus

NIOS Admission 2019-20: The National Institute of Open Schooling which was earlier known as National Open School is an autonomous organization. It was founded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India in 1989 to provide quality and relevant education at the school to pre-degree level. NIOS is an Open and Distance Learning Education (ODL) where students who are working can continue their study to avail of the formal schooling facility. NIOS conducts the 10th and 12th board admissions online in two blocks i.e, Block I and Block II. NIOS admission for Block I starts from 16th March and continues till July 31, 2019, without any late fee. Other than this, students can also apply for NIOS admission on September 15, 2019, with the late fee.

Students must pay the admission fees and also can track the admission status on nios.ac.in. NIOS is responsible to examine and certify learners registered with it up to pre-degree level courses whether Technical, Academic or Vocational. NIOS also offers elementary level courses to the learners through its Open Basic Education Programmes (OBE). NIOS Admission Dates 2019-20

NIOS Admission conducts yearly twice. Admissions for block1 is going on and can be applied till the last date. Whereas the admissions for block II will be started from 16th September 2019.

NIOS 2019 Exam Dates

NIOS will release the date sheet for the Block I exam in February 2020. However, the NIOS Block I exam will be conducted in March/April 2020. Whereas the NIOS Block II exam will be conducted in October/ November 2020. In 2019, NIOS 10th exam conducted on 3rd April whereas NIOS 12th exam conducted on 2nd April. The date sheet contains the exam dates for secondary and higher secondary courses offered by NIOS. Last year, NIOS secondary date sheet was released along with a higher secondary date sheet on February 27, 2019.

NIOS Admission Eligibility Criteria

Class 10 Eligibility Conditions:

  • The minimum age of the learner must be 14 years as of July 31, 2019, or born on or before July 31, 2005.
  • A learner giving self-certificate saying that I have studied enough to be eligible for admission to the class 10.
  • The learner must have completed class 8 from the recognized board.
  • The learner who has already studied in class 10 can also search for NIOS admission either to complete the course or to improve the performance.

Class 12 Eligibility Conditions:

  • The minimum age of the learner must be 15 years as of July 31, 2019, or born on or before July 31, 2004.
  • The learner must have completed class 10 from the recognized board.

NIOS 2019-20 Admission Process

Admission in NIOS offers education universally with the flexibility of self-learning in remote and rural areas. NIOS admission for Block I have already started on 16th March 2019 and will be continued till 15th September 2019, including a late fee. The learners can possess admission online as well as offline. Learners must register themselves to fill the online admission form. Learners can also download, fill the offline admission form and submit it to the NIOS regional center.

NIOS board is similar to CBSE and ICSE boards. So, learners can choose NIOS admission to continue their secondary and senior secondary education to get higher scores. Learners must refer to the below-mentioned procedures for NIOS admission.

  • Visit the official website sdmis.nios.ac.in.
  • It will go to the homepage of the NIOS portal.
  • Go to the Admission menu, select Academic and click on Stream 1 (Block 1 Open) for NIOS registration. See the picture below for registration.
  • Go through the instructions mentioned below and enter the Identity No. Then, select the State/UT, Identity Type and Course Applying For options either secondary for 10th and senior secondary for 12th class. See the below-given picture to fill-up the form.
  • Click on the submit button and it will go to the Basic Details form.
  • Enter address, basic and other information properly and submit to go to the optional details form.
  • Fill the optional details correctly and submit them to go to the subject’s form.
  • In this form, select the subjects and exam center for the exam.
  • Next, upload the scanned copies of the required documents (.jpg or .jpeg files) and submit them for review. The following documents are required to be uploaded.
  • Aadhar card or passport or ration card for identity proof.
  • Birth Certificate for checking the date of birth.
  • Valid residential Address proof (Aadhaar card/Water Bill/Electricity Bill/Voter Id/Ration card).
  • Recent passport size color photo with the signature in black ink.
  • Caste certificate for reserved category and Disability Certificate for PwD category students.
  • Ex-serviceman certificate for Ex-serviceman category learners. Class 8th mark sheets for secondary and class 10th mark sheets for senior secondary courses.
  • Then review the form thoroughly and make sure all the details have been entered correctly. Otherwise, modify the form if required.
  • Click on Submit and Generate OTP to validate the mobile number and email address with the OTP.
  • If the filled form is found correct then process the payment and click on register. It will go to the acknowledgment page, take a hardcopy of it for future purposes.

After that, the learners can view their NIOS admission status online.

  • The admission fee can only be paid online through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
  • No Demand Draft/Bank Draft/Cash/Cheque or any other payment mode is acceptable.
  • Admission can not be done by any Agencies/Cyber Cafe or any other institutes recognized by NIOS.
  • Apart from these, the learner has to pay extra Rs. 50/- as the cost of the online application form.

NIOS Exam Fee 2019-20

  • The learners who are attending the secondary and higher secondary exam have to fill the application form.
  • Then they must pay the exam fee after getting confirmation of the admission.
  • Exam fees must be paid separately, not with an admission fee. NIOS Block I exam fee will be paid in November / December.
  • Whereas the NIOS Block II exam fee will be paid in February / March.
  • Exam fees can only be paid online through credit card/ debit card/ net banking.

NIOS Admit Card Details

  • NIOS admit card will be available online to download in March 2019.
  • Learners have to enter their enrollment numbers to download separate admit cards for practical and theory examination.
  • NIOS admit card contains learner and exam center details.
  • Exam center will be allotted to learners as per their selection at the time of filling the exam form.
  • Finally, NIOS will decide the allotment of the exam center. Once it is allotted any request for changing it will not be considered.
  • Admit card is an important document that needs to be carried by the learner to sit in the exam.

NIOS Question Paper Details

Learners who are preparing for NIOS secondary and senior secondary exams can practice the previous year’s question papers. From question papers, learners will get the information of marking scheme, type, and difficulty of the questions asked in the exam. Learners can evaluate their preparation within a certain time interval to reduce the exam pressure. NIOS question papers will be available online in pdf format to download and practice whenever required.

NIOS Exam Result 2019-20

Abdul Kalam Scholarship Form 2020: Applicants can register by downloading the request type from Jamia Millia Islamia’s university portal and submitting it to the Dean’s cabinet after completing it and attaching the required documents.

Eligibility

  • The candidates must be Jamia Millia Islamia’s bonafide teachers and study periodic UG/PG classes.
  • The candidates must have at least 75 percent participation.
  • The candidates must have either completed the committee of school 12 or acquired a degree of UG.
  • The applicants’ annual household earnings shall not exceed Rs. 2 Lakh.

Reward: Under this system of Abdul Kalam fellowship, Jamia Millia Islamia’s 50 learners obtain tuition reimbursement pursuant to an Rs. 10,000 total per pupil per year. In addition, 50% of the complete grants are intended for woman learners.

Dr. Abdul Kalam International Undergraduate Scholarships

Application Process: Students can register the internet through Sydney University’s internet implementation scheme.

Eligibility

  • This scholarship is available for international learners.
  • For any UG program at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies at Sydney University, the applicants must have an unconditional grant.
  • The applicants must have finished either an Australian Year 12 diploma or an ATAR equal of at capped 98 global junior secondary diploma.

Reward: This scholarship includes only one year 50 percent of the chosen applicant’s education charges.

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Summer Training Program

Eligibility

  • Applicants enrolled in the first-year MSc program (pre-MSc degree category minimum first-class) are qualified.
  • The candidates may also qualify for a GPA rating of 6.0 on a scale of 10 in the fifth to pre-final year of Integrated MSc program or equal.
  • GPA rating of 8.0 on a scale of 10 or GPA 7.0 on a scale of 10 for CFT Is at B.E/B. Tech or GATE Score of 600 or NET (Engineering) rank of 1 to 100 may also extend to first-year learners of ME / MTech program or similar.
  • Applicants are qualified to register for a BE / B.Tech program or equal to PA 8.0 on a scale of 10 or GPA 7.0 on a scale of 10.
  • Also eligible are the third to the pre-final year students of the Integrated ME / MTech or equivalent program (GPA 8.0 on a scale of 10 OR GPA 7.0 on a scale of 10 for CFTIs or GATE Score alone or NET).

Reward

  • For this program, a maximum of 20 applicants is chosen and obtain an Rs. 25,000 worth grant for a duration of 2 months.
  • Candidates also receive an Rs. 5000 transport subsidy.

Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation National Fellowship

Application Process: Applicants can submit their application/appointment through their organizations/institutions heads.

Eligibility

  • The candidates must be Indians employed in India at reputable publicly funded organizations in various engineering capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree and skilled professional qualification must be held by the candidates.
  • As on the eve of the grant of this grant, the applicants must have at least 5 years of work remaining in the mother organization.

Reward

  • The applicants earn a grant amounting to Rs. 25,000 per month under this Abdul Kalam grant.
  • The chosen applicants also receive an annual Rs. 15 Lakh research grant to be used for design, study and development operations, including consumables, recruitment of resources, national/international science transport, etc.
  • The housing centers are also provided an expense quantity of Rs. 1 Lakh per year.

President APJ Abdul Kalam Postgraduate Fellowship

Eligibility

  • The candidates must have completed their Indian university degrees.
  • Before submitting their fellowship application, the applicants must have submitted the University of South Florida’s graduate application form and received the university ID code.
  • In the previous topics, candidates must be prepared to follow a Ph.D. degree.

Reward

  • For a total duration of 4 years, the chosen applicants receive a tuition fee waiver.
  • The pupils are also awarded a USD 22,000 stipend.

Eligibility

  • The candidates are required to reside in India and Indian people.
  • The candidates ‘ educational records must be outstanding.
  • The applicants must have English language skills.
  • Candidates applicants for doctoral studies must be enrolled in an Indian Ph.D. program and have undertaken appropriate studies in the appropriate sector, particularly in resource detection in India and the United States.
  • Applicants for postdoctoral research must have earned a Ph.D. degree in the previous four years.

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam IGNITE Awards

Application Process: Students can apply online or by email/post for this award.

Eligibility

  • The students up to Class 12 can apply this Abdul Kalam award.
  • The applicants must not be over the age of 17-18.
  • The applicants who have the maximum age limit out of school are 17 years old.
