CCB Scholarship 2019-2020: The CCB scholarship Bihar is offered by the Combined Counselling Board, India. The Welfare Department of CCB handles the admission under its member colleges. The department aims to aim to provide financial support for meritorious students to pursue and complete their education. Combined Council Board reserves 10%-20%  seats in different courses and branches of leading institutes of India and offers them to meritorious children who are financially challenged.

The scholarship is open to students of all categories, with 20% slots being reserved for SC, ST, and OBC. From a broader perspective, The CCB scholarship aims to resolve two of society’s pressing issues – poverty and unemployment. CCB Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure that they fulfill the following criteria to ensure eligibility.

  • Candidates must possess a degree (based on their course)
  • Candidates must also have 40% to 50% marks in their last qualifying exam.

CCB Scholarship Amount and Benefits

  • The scholars will be reimbursed up to 80% of their tuition fees (between INR 60,000 to INR 2,50,000 depending on the course)
  • The hostel fee for scholars will also be discounted.

  • Candidates are required to select their state from the header navigation at the top.
  • Read the given information carefully
  • Click on Apply online (no offline process).

CCB Scholarship Apply Online

  • Take a printout of the application receipt or the counselling letter. This step is mandatory.
  • Attend the counselling process (details regarding the location and timing will be communicated through the counselling letter.)
  • Candidates will be required to select a college of their choice and then take a printout of the same from the CCB.
  • Report to the allotted college with the CCB allotment letter and complete the admission process within 5 days of allotment.
  • Inform the CCB scholarship department of the admission by calling or messaging on 6202601616.

Note: The CCB does not charge any fee for the application process or registration.

Samsung Star Scholarship 2019-2020: A CSR initiative of the Samsung group, the Samsung Star Scholarship aims to provide meritorious students with the financial support needed to pursue their education. The scholarship is for the students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) pursuing a technical degree from any of the IITs or NITs in India. Samsung Scholarship for JNV Students 2020 is provided for B.Tech or dual degree.

Samsung Star Scholarship also rewards scholars up to INR 2,00,000 to cover relevant expenses. Samsung Star Scholarship Result 2019 is 25th January 2020. Read on to explore the application process, eligibility criteria and more.

Samsung Star Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure that they have fulfilled the following criteria to be deemed eligible for the scholarship.

  • Candidates must have completed their class 12 from any of the JNVs.
  • Must be enrolled in B.Tech or a dual degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) programs in either the IITs or NITs.

Samsung Star Scholarship Amount and Benefits

  • Scholars will receive an amount of INR 2,00,000 per annum towards their tuition fees, mess charges, and hostel fees.

Samsung Star Scholarship Selection Procedure

  • Scholarship for first-year will be awarded based on the performance of the candidates in JEE Main (AIR – All India Rank)
  • Scholarship for the second year will be based on the scholar’s academic performance.
  • Candidates who manage to stay in the Top 50% in their class will be awarded the scholarship for the third year.

  • Self-attested copy of the candidate’s PAN Card
  • Self-attested copy of address proof – either in the form of Aadhar Card, Election ID or Passport
  • Self-attested copy of the candidate’s bank account

Samsung Star Scholarship Important Information

  • In order to protect the integrity of the program, rules have been clearly defined that bind all applicants and other participants of the Program. Applicants are requested to carefully read and understand them to ensure their eligibility.
  • All documents including applicants form and supporting receipts/documents, must be attested and verified by the Institute’s Dean Academics. Only verified applications with all relevant documents will be accepted and considered eligible by the Selection Committee.
  • Applicants must comply with all applicable enrolment and registration deadlines as published.
  • Samsung will inform applicants on their selection through individuals emails post due to validation of the submitted documents.
  • Meeting the minimum application requirements and scholarship criteria does not guarantee the scholarship. Samsung shall award scholarships at its sole discretion. All decisions of Samsung will be binding and final.

Post Matric Scholarship 2019-2020: Post-Matric Scholarship means it is an initiative of the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India. This scholarship is awarded to the SC, ST, and OBC category students. This scholarship empowers the minority community students from the deprived section of people to undertake education. National Scholarship Portal (NSP) has invited online application for minority community students to provide financial aid under this scheme.

Post Matric Scholarship provided to students for studying in any Govt or Private colleges/universities in India. Post Matric Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

  • Both girl and boy candidates who belong to a minority community can apply for this scholarship.
  • Candidates must belong to Indian Citizenship.
  • Class 11th & 12th, UG, PG, M.Phil, Ph.D. or Diploma students are eligible.

Post Matric Scholarship Selection Process

A limited number of Post Matric Scholarship for Minority, SC Category is available. Students from the lowest income BPL families will be given preference in the ascending order. The renewal applications will be fully devastated before the new applications are considered.

How to Apply Online Post Matric Scholarship Application Form?

  • Go to the official website of NSP – scholarships.gov.in.
  • Click on the ‘Ministry of Minority Affairs’ appeared under the ‘State Schemes’ of the NSP homepage.
  • Read the ‘Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities Guidelines’ carefully.
  • Then, click on the ‘New Registration’ appeared on the homepage.
  • You will be redirected to the new student registration form instruction page. Read all the instructions mentioned for registration and click on ‘Continue’.
  • Then, you will be redirected to the new student registration form. Fill the correct and valid information in the registration form such as name, email Id, phone number, etc.
  • Enter your correct bank details. An OTP will be sent to your mobile number given at the time of registration.
  • Enter OTP and login to NSP to fill the form.
  • This will generate an application Id and password which can be used for future references.
  • Fill the Post Matric Scholarship application form along with the relevant documents.
  • Submit the Post Matric Scholarship application form and take the printout for future usage.

  • Students who have secured at least 50% of marks in the examination will be allotted for scholarship Renewal.

The Post Matric Scholarship Result will be announced by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India. students can check their results on the official website scholarships.gov.in. Shortlisted candidates will be awarded scholarships after the result declaration.

Post Matric Scholarship Terms and Conditions

  • The scholarship can be given to only a maximum of two children in the same family.
  • The scholarship may be canceled in case of a violation of any terms and conditions of the scholarship.
  • The scholarship will be canceled in case it is found that the students have obtained a scholarship by false statement or certificates.
  • The Government of India has the power to change the regulations at any time.
  • Students of 18 years of age have to provide a self-certified community certificate.
  • Transfer from one school/college to another is not allowed for renewal candidates during the period of an academic course.
  • The scholarship awards and allowances will be credited only to the student’s bank account under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
  • The scholarship provides 100% funding for the scheme. Since this is a Central Sector Scheme.
  • The Ministry has the power to evaluate the scheme at regular intervals.

Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana 2019-2020: Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana is a scholarship offered by the Department of Posts, Government of India. SPARSH is an abbreviation for ​Scholarship for Promotion of Aptitude & Research in Stamps as a Hobby.

The scholarship is primarily meant to ignite interest in philately Scholarship Scheme – the study and collection of postage stamps. Students from class 6 to class 9 are eligible to avail of the scholarship. Though Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana promotes philately, it is meant to supplement the academic curriculum and provide an outlet for students to destress and relax. Candidates must ensure that they fulfill the following criteria to be deemed eligible.

  • Must be a student between class 6 to class 9 from any recognized school in India
  • Must be a member of the Philately Club in their respective school or have a philately deposit account.
  • Must possess a good and consistent academic record.
  • Must have secured not less than 60% marks or equivalent in their most recent final examination (at the time of selection).

Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana Award

  • Successful candidates will receive a scholarship amount of INR 6,000 (INR 500 per month).
  • 920 scholarships will be awarded to students at PAN India level for pursuing philately as a hobby.
  • Maximum 40 scholarships will be given to 10 students each from standard 6 to 9 from every postal circle.
  • The scholarship amount will be disbursed quarterly to regular students studying in class 6 to 9 in a recognized school.
  • The amount of the scholarship would be Rs. 6000 per annum that is Rs. 500 per month.

Note: only a maximum of 10 students from each class will be selected from a grand total of 40 candidates.

Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana Selection Process & Selection Criteria

The selection process is two-tiered:

  • 1st Level: Philately is Written Quiz – A written quiz of 60 minutes will be conducted by the postal authorities at the regional level. There will be 50 questions from various subjects such as sports, history, science, geography, culture, and philately.
  • 2nd Level: Philately Project – Students who successfully cleared their written quiz must submit a philately project. The project must be:
    • Not more than 500 words
    • Not more than 4-5 pages
    • Not have more than 16 stamps

The students will have to submit the same within 15 days.

  • UP scholarship is fairly available for all the candidates belonging to any of the categories such as General, OBC, SC, ST.
  • Applicants from those institutes, which are blacklisted by the government, are not eligible to apply for the scholarship. These barred colleges include Chaudhary Babulal Institute of Technology and Management, Hathras, Excellence College of Professional Studies, Meerut and Shri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Baghpat.
  • It is necessary for students to attach a hardcopy of the photocopy of the bank passbook with the application form.
  • Registrants must submit the application form in the department concerned, in person and must receive the receipt.
  • Candidates must provide their own effective email ID and mobile phone number.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are deemed eligible if they fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

Inlaks Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must be Indian citizens, staying in India for the past six months at the time of making the application.
  • Candidates must possess a first-class degree from a recognized university or institution in India.
  • Candidates applying for the scholarship in the field of Arts and Design will be primarily judged based on their portfolio.
  • Candidates who have studied abroad must have stayed in India for at least 2 years post returning from abroad.
  • Candidates that possess a Master’s or a P.hD from a university abroad are not eligible.
  • Candidates must ensure that they have the admission to the institution and chosen course at the time of application. Candidates without admission will lose their candidature.
  • Candidates who have begun their postgraduate studies abroad are not eligible.
  • The maximum age of candidates is 30 years.

Inlaks Scholarship Subjects (Not Eligible)

The foundation does not provide scholarships for the following subjects:

  • Business Studies
  • Computer Science
  • Engineering
  • Fashion Design
  • Film & Film Animation
  • Medicine
  • Music
  • Public Health

However, the Imperial College, London will provide scholarships for Engineering and Natural Sciences. Indian Studies as a subject will be considered only if it has any contemporary significance. For Music, only applications in Western Classical singing will be considered. And for Film, only applications for Documentary Film-making will be considered.

Inlaks Scholarship Amount

Total funding amounting up to USD 100,000 is provided to successful candidates. However, if the candidate’s expenses exceed this limit, they must convey that they have the ability to cover the expenses on their own during the preliminary interviews.

Inlaks Scholarship Application Procedure

  • The application process for the Inlaks Scholarship is done completely online through the official website at https://www.inlaksfoundation.org/scholarships/how-to-apply/.
  • No physical application forms will be accepted
  • Note: the portal will remain active only between 16th January to 31st March 2020. Post this date, new applications will not be entertained.
  • Candidates that wish to apply for dance, film, music, and acting, must upload their portfolio either as a PDF or a website link during the application process
  • Ensure all relevant documents are uploaded in PDF format

Number of Scholarships Available / Amount

  • A total number of 5500 wards/widows of Ex-servicemen are selected for Scholarship in each academic year.
  • Scholarships are equally divided amongst boys and girls.
  • Scholarships are paid for a period of one to five years as per the duration of the courses approved by the concerned regulatory bodies.
  • The scholarship amount is paid annually to the selected students.
  • Scholarship Amount, 2000/- PM For Boys and 2250/- PM For Girls

Students Eligible for Scholarship

  • Students who have taken admission in 1st year (except Lateral Entry & Integrated course) are only eligible to apply for PMSS. Students must apply online on KSB web portal www.ksb.gov.in. Students should have scored 60% and above in Minimum Educational Qualification (MEQ) i.e 10+2 / Diploma / Graduation.
  • Students studying in 2nd and subsequent years are not eligible. (except for integrated courses – where the 1st portion is academic and 2nd portion is integrated as a professional course, in such cases student need to apply for the scholarship on taking admission as per ‘Para 16 of Important Instructions’ available at link PMSS – New Application – How to Apply for Scholarship.
  • Students who are Dependent Wards / Widows of Ex-Servicemen & Ex-Coast Guard personnel.
  • Wards of Civilians including Para-Military Personnel are Not Eligible.

Priority for Grant of Scholarship

Order of preference for selection of candidates will be as under

  • Category 1 – Wards & Widows of ESM / Ex-Coast Guard personnel killed in action.
  • Category 2  – Wards of ESM / Ex-Coast Guard personnel disabled in action and boarded out of service with disability attributable to Military / Coast Guard service.
  • Category 3 – Wards & Widows of ESM / Ex-Coast Guard personnel who died while in service for causes attributable to Military / Coast Guard Service.
  • Category 4 – Wards of ESM / Ex-Coast Guard personnel disabled in service with disability attributable to Military / Coast Guard Service.
  • Category 5 – Wards & Widows of ESM / Ex-Coast Guard personnel in receipt of gallantry awards.
  • Category 6 – Wards / Widows of ESM / Ex-Coast Guard personnel (PBOR Only).

Eligible Courses

The Eligibility Criteria for PMSS Courses are as Under

  • First Professional Degree Courses like BE, B Tech, BDS, MBBS, BEd, BBA, BCA, B Pharma, etc. duly recognized by the respective Government Regulatory Bodies, such as All India Council for Technical Education, Medical Council of India, UGC, etc.
  • Master Degree Courses are not eligible for PMSS except MBA / Management / MCA Courses.
  • Students studying abroad are not eligible for this scheme. No distance learning course is permitted under PMSS. PMSS can be availed for ONE COURSE only

Minimum Eligible Marks in MEQ

Minimum Educational Qualification (MEQ) for entry to various professional courses differs e.g. for MBBS it is 10+2 whereas for BE/B Tech it is 10+2 / Diploma, It is graduation for B.Ed and MBA. A candidate must have minimum of 60% marks in MEQ to apply for PM Scholarship Scheme. All subjects will be taken for a calculation of 60% marks and not out of the best subjects.

NVS Result – Selection Process

Aspirants will be shortlisted on the basis of their marks in written examination/CBT (online computer-based test). The cut off marks will be released and the aspirants will be shortlisted based on their cut off marks. The decision of the NVS about the mode of selection to the posts will be final. The selection procedure is different for various posts and selection procedure for each post are tabulated below:

  • In the case of Legal Assistant, Female Staff Nurse & Catering Assistant the selection to the post will be done on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the written examination/CBT only.

UPSEE Counselling Procedure 2019

The counselling procedure contains 6 steps in total

  1. Registration (which includes document uploading and payment of counseling fee)
  2. Document verification
  3. Filling of choices
  4. Seat allotment result
  5. Seat confirmation
  6. Physical reporting at the college

You need to complete all the steps given above successfully to gain admission. Below, we give a detailed outline of each step.

UPSEE Counselling Registration 2019

Registration for UPSEE counseling 2019 will be through online mode. You need to register on the official website https://upsee.nic.in/publicinfo/public/home.aspx using your given credentials. Once registered, you will have to pay the counselling fee

  • General and OBC candidates – ₹20,000
  • SC and ST candidates – ₹12,000

You are also required to upload all the necessary documents to complete registration.

UPSEE Counselling Document Verification

You will have to upload all the necessary documents for verification. The size limit for the files is 200 KB. The documents to be uploaded are:

  1. UPSEE Admit Card 2019
  2. UPSEE Rank Card 2019
  3. Class XII Certificate & marks sheet
  4. Rural weightage certificate if applicable
  5. Domicile certificate
  6. Domicile certificate of his/ her parents (Father OR Mother) if the candidate has passed qualifying examination from outside of U.P
  7. Character certificate
  8. Certificate of Medical Fitness/ Undertaking of Medical Fitness
  9. Domicile certificate, if applicable.
  10. Category certificate for OBC/SC/ST, if applicable

After this step is done. you will be provided with a One-time-password (OTP) for choice filling.

UPSEE Counselling Filling of Choices

You will have to fill in your preferred order of colleges and courses. You will be allotted your most preferred seat if vacant, then second and so on.

UPSEE Counselling Seat Allotment Result

On the basis of your rank and preference order, you will be allotted a seat.

Seat Confirmation

In this step, you have three options available to you: Freeze, Float and Withdraw.

  • Freeze: You are satisfied with the seat allotted to you and want to finalize it.
  • Float: You are not satisfied with the seat allotted to you and want to wait for the other rounds of counselling to see if your seat will be upgraded. (To one with higher preference)
  • Withdraw: You do not wish to participate further in the admission process. Your seat will be forfeited.

UPSEE Counselling Physical Reporting at College

  • After all the rounds of counseling are completed. you will have to report at the allotted college to complete the admission process.
  • The counseling process is straight forward and entirely via online mode. You need to register on the official website for counselling by uploading all the necessary documents and paying the counselling fee (depending on your category). Then, you will have to upload the necessary documents and certificates for online verification. Once this process is complete, you will be able to choose your preferred order of colleges and courses. Finally, a seat will be allotted to you based on merit.
  • At this stage, you can either choose to withdraw or stay in the admission process. If you choose to stay, you can either freeze the seat allotted to you or opt for float and hope for upgradation.
  • The last step will be to physically report at the allotted college to confirm your seat and finish the admission procedure.

The candidates must fulfill the basic eligibility criteria in order to apply for UPSEE 2020.
